We’ve had an exciting and eventful start to the Spring, and we’re so glad you’re a part of it. One of our recent highlights was our very first annual Bunco Night as part of our Women in Business initiative. It was a fantastic evening filled with fun, laughter, and connection—and we’re already looking forward to hosting more of these gatherings throughout the year!
We’re also thrilled to have welcomed several new members to our Chamber family. Be sure to check out the following page for their information and join us in giving them a warm Chamber welcome.
In the coming weeks, we’re excited to celebrate the ribbon cutting for Swain Funeral Home. You can find more details about this special event on page 3—we hope you’ll make plans to join us as we support and celebrate their expansion into our community.
As we head into a busy spring season, we’re gearing up for some of our most anticipated events, including the Women in Business Luncheon and our Annual Chamber Gala. Tickets are available now, and we encourage you to grab yours as soon as possible—more information and links can be found on the following pages.
We’re also proud to partner with the Board of Tourism to bring you the Three Rivers Arts Fest on April 18 at Towns Bluff Park. This is a FREE event for our community and we’ll be releasing workshop offerings and the daytime music lineup this week—so stay tuned!

Women in Business BUNCO Night!
Our recent Ladies Bunco Night was a fantastic evening filled with laughter, friendly competition, and great fellowship! The room was full of energy as everyone enjoyed rolling the dice, sharing snacks, and connecting with fellow women in business. It was such a fun and successful event, and we’re so grateful to everyone who joined us. We’re already looking forward to hosting more gatherings like this throughout the year— be sure to keep an eye out for the next date!

Important Update! Important Update!
The Jeff Davis County Board of Tourism has announced the cancellation of the Three Rivers Arts Festival concert due to low ticket sales, despite extensive promotion efforts over the past several weeks. While this was a difficult decision, the remainder of the festival will continue as planned on April 18 at Towns Bluff Park, featuring vendors, free live performances, and familyfriendly activities. Organizers remain committed to responsibly managing resources while still delivering a high-quality event for the community. We hope you will still join us for all the fun!
The Women in Business Luncheon Committee is currently seeking donations to create gift baskets for our upcoming event on April 22. Donations can include small individual items, gift cards, or even a fully assembled basket. All donors will be recognized at the luncheon. Items can be dropped off at The Big House, or you may email candice.reynolds@jeffdavishazlehurst.com to arrange for pickup. Proceeds from the gift basket auction will benefit our Women in Business Scholarship Fund.
All donations needed by Friday, April 17.

Through the Georgia Heart Program, rural hospitals can connect patients to advanced care without leaving their community. The Georgia HEART (Help Enhance Access to Rural Treatment) Hospital Program is a state initiative allowing taxpayers to receive a 100% Georgia income tax credit for contributions made to qualified rural hospitals. Quality healthcare isn’t just for big cities. It’s right here, where home is.
The Georgia HEART Program is a program that simply allows you to take the money you already owe for state taxes and redirect it to an eligible rural hospital, such as Jeff Davis Hospital. Typically, when you pay your state taxes that money goes into a general fund. Instead of sending your tax money into that general fund you, through HEART you can now redirect those state taxes directly to Jeff Davis Hospital and keep your taxes local! It’s a great way to make a transformational difference in rural healthcare in our community at no extra expense to you.
