We have a lot of exciting things happening at the HazlehurstJeff Davis County Chamber of Commerce as we look ahead to the fall and winter season! Our 2026-2027 event dates have been set, and we are looking forward to another great lineup of opportunities for our members and community. Be sure to check out our Fall/Winter Sponsorship Guide (link on page 7) for details on each event and available sponsorship opportunities.
We are also excited to announce the JDForward Class of 2027 and look forward to watching this group of emerging leaders grow through hands-on experiences, community engagement, and leadership development throughout the year.
In addition, we are thrilled to launch our new Buzz Card Program, a digital community gift card designed to encourage shopping local and support our Chamber member businesses. We look forward to growing this program and connecting customers with even more local businesses.
Finally, we hope you will join us for the inaugural 1905 Society Dinner hosted by the Jeff Davis County Community Foundation. This special evening will celebrate the history, stories, and resilience of our community while investing in the future of Jeff Davis County.

1905 Society Benefit Dinner
Join the Jeff Davis County Community Foundation for the inaugural 1905 Society Dinner, an evening celebrating the people, stories, and resilience that have shaped Jeff Davis County since 1905. Guests will enjoy a delicious steak or chicken dinner, cocktails, fellowship, and inspiring stories while supporting the Community Foundation's permanent Community Fund. Every ticket purchased helps invest in projects and initiatives that will strengthen our community for generations to come.

Admission covers prize money awarded. Attendees are encouraged to dress to fit the theme and bring a snack/appetizer to share (although not required). Emails will be sent out to each participant prior to the event with other event details!

We're excited to introduce the Jeff Davis County Community Gift Card Program a new way to encourage people to shop local while supporting Chamber member businesses!
The digital community gift card can be purchased online and redeemed at participating Chamber member locations, giving recipients the flexibility to choose where they shop while keeping more dollars circulating right here in our local economy. Whether it's given as a birthday gift, employee incentive, holiday present, or just because, every purchase helps support businesses in Jeff Davis County.
Want your business to participate? Chamber members can join the program as a redemption location! If you're interested in being included or would like to learn more about how the program works, contact the Chamber office. Announcing the JDForward Class of 2027
The Hazlehurst-Jeff Davis County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the JDForward Class of 2027! This outstanding group of emerging leaders will spend the coming year learning more about Jeff Davis County through hands-on leadership development, community tours, interactive sessions, and service opportunities designed to prepare them to lead and serve our community for years to come.
JDForward is the Chamber's premier leadership development program, created to equip early- and mid-career professionals with a deeper understanding of our community while strengthening their leadership skills and expanding their network of local leaders. Throughout the program, participants will explore the opportunities and challenges facing Jeff Davis County and discover meaningful ways to make a lasting impact.
