MINDFULNESSCOLOURING WEDNESDAY

A chance to relax and be in the moment by being creative and trying to stay in the lines with mindfulnesscolouring.

Buildsastrongfoundationforalifelongloveofsport through fun, engaging activities centred around running, jumping, and throwing—the fundamental movement skills that underpin all sports. Sessions help children gain confidence, coordination, and body awareness in a playful, supportive environment.

JUNIORSTRINGS

Open to students who are already learning an instrument.

LISTEN,WATCH&DRAW

Children are given prompts or stories and then encouraged to draw based on the instructions and ideas, which improves listening skills and the ability tovisualiseandinterpretinformationthroughart.

FRIDAY

DANCE(BALLET&TAP)

ClassicalBalletformsthebasisofallgenresof dance and helps to create a strong dancer. We strive to ensure ballet is for everyone, carefully developing strength and flexibility along with encouraging imagination through song with younger pupils - use of props and freemovementthroughout.

Tap is an exciting way of developing rhythm, whilst exploring different musical styles from current pop, swing, Latin rhythms and more traditional tap music. Tap is great for general coordination,fitnessandmemory.

An energetic session where children play a wholehostofdifferentgamesandactivitiesto improve and challenge their skills and teamwork.

SCRATCHANIMATION

An introduction to Scratch animation on iPads. Scratch is a visual programming language that allows students to create their own interactive stories, games and animations. As students design their Scratch projects, they learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively.Thechildrenwillexplore,learnthe fundamentalsanddesigntheirownanimation.

OurModernjazz/streetclassesincorporatea variety of styles, including modern jazz, street dance, contemporary, rock and roll and solo Latin to name but a few. We use a combinationofmusicfromthemostcurrent tracks to stimulate our dancers to more traditional music depending on style. StudentsareenteredforannualIDTAexams.

Using an online maths platform designed to help children develop strong number sense, addition and subtraction skills. It uses interactive games and engaging characters to make learning fun andmotivating.

Athletix Kidz builds a strong foundation for a lifelong love of sport through fun, engaging activities centred around running, jumping, and throwing—the fundamental movement skills that underpin all sports. Sessions also develop key elements of physical literacy, helping children gain confidence, coordination, and body awarenessinaplayful,supportiveenvironment.
