Uncoated/Unweathered Expanded Polystyrene Systems SUBSTRATE - Uncoated Expanded Polystyrene System

Haymes Rendertex is a professional range of roll-on and trowel-on render and textural coatings designed to work as part of an integrated system. The Rendertex system is an ideal coating for Uncoated Expanded Polystyrene Systems (EPS). Uncoated EPS offer one of the lightest walling products known, with excellent insulation properties. The Rendertex System provides a durable, flexible and superior coloured texture system on uncoated, unweathered EPS systems.

1. RENDER Renderbase High Polymer Strength (HPS) Render Just add water. Trowel applied. 1 bag covers approx 4-5 m2 @ 3-4 mm thick. Uncoated unweathered EPS requires a minimum of 2 coats of HPS render with reinforced fibre-glass mesh embedded between coats, see overleaf for more details. Note: For QLD/Nth NSW projects the equivalent Rendertex Renderbase Q can be used as an alternative.

2. PRIMER Rendertex Renderprime Applied to achieve even suction over render and promotes inter-coat adhesion. Covers up to 150 m2/15 L

3. TEXTURE COATINGS Choose from our range of roll-on or trowel-on textures: Rendertex Eureka Marble Medium Covers up to 12 m2/15 L Rendertex Torquay Marble Coarse Covers up to 12 m2/15 L Rendertex Sovereign Quartz Medium Covers up to 12 m2/15 L Rendertex Riverina Sand Covers up to 12 m2/15 L Rendertex Texture coatings can be tinted to an extensive variety of colours. Eureka Marble Medium tinted to Colorbond® Paperbark®

4. PROTECTIVE COATINGS Choose from:

Rendershield Low Sheen Covers up to 75 m2/15 L Rendershield Matt Covers up to 75 m2/15 L Rendershield Clear Covers up to ~105 m2/15 L Armourguard Low Sheen Covers up to 90 m2/15 L Rendertex Texture coatings can be tinted to an extensive variety of colours. Rendershield Low Sheen tinted to Colorbond® Paperbark® RTX0098 V3. May, 2023.
