This month is our photo issue, and I want to thank everyone who submitted. We received 142 photos, and choosing only 30 photos to use in the magazine was difficult, to say the least. There were so many great ones, we had quite the debate here. I’m extending an invitation to all of you to make a visit to our office on June 5 during First Friday, from 5-8 p.m. to meet the photographers and see their work displayed. It’s going to be a fun night!
In this issue, you will also see the winners from The Great Polk Pet Showdown! Thank you to everyone who submitted a photo of their pet and to everyone who voted. Again, we received so many submissions, and they were all so cute!
Remember, hurricane season begins June 1, please get your house prepared in advance! (Nobody likes to stand in line for water and food at the last minute,
am I right?)
