Harvey’s very own Ms. Michelle Morris has set a global record on LinkedIn, a professional networking platform used by millions worldwide to connect professionals and share career achievements. Ms. Morris has been on the Harvey payroll for years, but before her time working in independent schools, she has led a lengthy career in development, gastronomy, and pageant sectors. Now, sources attribute her as an invaluable resource in the community, providing food, advice, and joy to students and faculty alike. In 2022, Head of School Mr. Knauer issued an appeal to the Harvey business office to reallocate funds so Ms. Morris could receive additional compensation. However, she rejected this budget change. “I know how important that Wheel House is to Mr. Knauer, and I’m more than happy with my seven-figure salary as it is,” Ms. Morris said. In a fiscal quarter, Ms. Morris hosts multiple soirées, inviting hundreds of guests to her condominium in Charleston, South Carolina. She has been known to act as a matchmaker, allegedly setting up reality TV star and longtime friend Lisa Rinna with her current husband, Morris HQ reports.
“During my seven years as a Harvey student, I would find Ms. Morris in the back of Shea every day to make me frozen chicken nuggets,” Gary Napoli ‘25 said. “I think she might’ve been stealing them from Mr. Johnson.” Gary also told The Pulse that immediately after walking out of the Fenstermacher Athletic Center on graduation day, he opened the LinkedIn app to request Ms. Morris. However, Gary is not the only student who has bolstered Ms. Morris’s popularity as a result of her warmth. Statistician Mr. “Charmander” Paguada published a study on this phenomenon, concluding that there is a direct positive correlation between the distribution of Morris dino nuggets and LinkedIn connections. This factor accounts for 40% of Morris’s connections, the study reports. Ms. Morris might have set a world record in networking, but there is more to be done to ensure she keeps this accomplishment for herself.
