Family Photo Style

1. Coordinate, don’t match! Gone are the days of matching tshirts and jeans! Instead, focus on coordinating outfits. I suggest Mom picks her outfit first, then build the family’s color scheme around it. Choose 2-3 complementary colors, including neutrals and a pop of color, to tie everything together.

2.ColorTones Earth tones photograph beautifully year-round. I love bold colors like burnt orange, mustard yellow, dark green, and terracotta, as well as earth tones like blush, ivory, sage green, khaki, dusty blue, and warm greys. Mixing these tones is great— think Mom in an ivory dress and Dad or kids in mustard or orange. Don't be afraid to add color for a vibrant pop in your photos!
