For us, we reiterate that design is personal. We view each project as being entrusted to us by our clients, and we take the role of the designer to heart. Buildings touch lives, they do far more than provide shelter; they provide context for living. There is a feeling we want you to experience in each space — something we cannot communicate with words, so we express it with passion. From our hearts to yours, we invite you to walk in and experience the spaces we create.

This small, three-story boutique hotel was first conceived as New England-style residences that would fit naturally into its historic neighborhood in coastal Southport, Connecticut. But in 2009 the hotel opened its doors as an art-driven, pet-friendly, 46-guest room hotel, complete with all the effects that characterize a Conde Nast Readers’ Choice boutique hotel, including rooms with fireplaces, kitchens, and marble bathrooms, and the kind of interiors that celebrate local traditions.

The hotel introduced a newly designed luxury spa to offer guests a tranquil sanctuary full of pampering and restorative treatments. The overall interior design of the new spa reflects a nature inspired French retreat with a modern twist. The material selections were curated primarily to create a natural and elegant environment with an emphasis on serenity. The small space challenged designers to develop new millwork solutions to provide spaces for product displays, guest comfort, and hospitality.
