Welcome to an interactive science demo with a twist! We need YOU to take on some big challenges and help us save the day.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR CHIEF EXECUTIVE

I AM DELIGHTED TO PRESENT OUR NEW SUMMER SEASON, WHICH AS USUAL HAS A TERRIFIC RANGE OF ENTERTAINMENT ACROSS THEATRE, MUSIC, DANCE, FAMILY SHOWS, COMEDY AND CELEBRITY APPEARANCES.

I’d like to start by highlighting the fantastic work of our community companies that are performing this June. HOPS Musical Theatre Company will present Calamity Jane, Woodlands Drama Group will bring The Franchise Affair to the stage and The Harrogate Dramatic Society will perform The Dresser.

For something very special that’s embedded in our community, I highly recommend Sinfonia – Stories from Harrogate, presented by The Performance Ensemble in partnership with older participants from the Harrogate area. This rich and moving show is woven from real-life stories and told through performance, dance, original music and song. “Everyone has a story to tell. Together they create a symphony”.

We have three dance companies returning across the season, two contemporary - Verve and Emergence and one classical as the wonderful Northern Ballet bring us Little Red Riding Hood, one of our Little Stages shows.

If you are looking for something different, how about an afternoon tea experience like no other? On limited dates this summer, the iconic stage at Harrogate Theatre will be transformed into an intimate dining setting as Mama Doreen’s Emporium presents a beautifully crafted afternoon tea, accompanied by live musical theatre performances.

Finally, there is a huge variety of fun and exciting live music on offer this summer as well as our good friends The John Godber Company paying a visit with an updated version of his 80s classic Teechers.

We hope to see you soon – there really is something for everyone!

TUE – SAT | 10AM – 4PM

NOTE: All venues have step free access except Harrogate Studio Theatre which is only accessible via three flights of stairs. For more information on the accessibility of each venue, please contact our friendly box office team who will be able to assist you.
