MELANIE ROBINSON CBE
On behalf of the Directors of Hampshire FA, welcome to AFC Totton’s Snows Stadium for the Adopt South Women’s Senior Cup Final. Reaching a final is a significant achievement. Both teams should be immensely proud of the journey they’ve taken to get here.

As we enjoy the competition, let’s remember that football is a game for everyone. We remain fully committed to our anti-discrimination campaign which seeks to raise awareness of the action taken against discrimination and poor behaviour in grassroots football. There is no place for prejudice in our sport –today is about celebrating participation, talent and good sportsmanship.

We have many representatives from the breadth of our football family to cheer

To the players, congratulations on your success so far. Play with passion, enjoy the moment and may the best team win. Good luck to you and your coaching team.
To the volunteers, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to you all! From the committee members to the matchday stewards and officials, your tireless dedication is the heartbeat of grassroots football in our County. We couldn’t do this without you.
To our valued partners and stakeholders; thank you.
We are one community, working together to create and support a memorable matchday experience. I’m very proud to be part of your team.
Thank you for your continued support of grassroots football. Enjoy the match!

After a fantastic achievement last season, overcoming AFC Bournemouth in the Senior Cup Final, we are both proud and grateful for the opportunity to experience another final.
We know this will be a tough and physical challenge against a strong Moneyfields side, who are currently leading their league and pushing for promotion. Their staff have done an excellent job in building a team with clear identity, success, and a strong work ethic.
For us, it will be essential that we match those qualities - showing hard work, competitiveness, and resilience throughout - to give ourselves the best possible chance of retaining the Senior Cup.

Reaching our first County Cup final in just 13 years is a hugely proud moment for our club. While our place came in unusual circumstances, we are determined to embrace the occasion and the challenge it presents. We go in as underdogs against a strong Southampton PGA side, but that is a role we know well and one we relish. Playing with heart, resilience and togetherness— qualities embodied by Captain Rosie Eden this is a valuable opportunity for our younger players to step up and make their mark on a big stage.
This season has been demanding and at times, testing. After a bright start, our momentum dipped, and the group was forced to keep adjusting, adapting and learning. Securing Tier 4 status with a game to spare was a significant achievement, but equally it reinforced the belief that there is still more to come from this group. Through five promotions, we’ve grown from social beginnings into a club built on strong values, commitment, development and ambition. A key focus now is expanding our girls’ section, creating a clear pathway into senior football. With a strengthened staff, a rejuvenated development side and a return to our home ground, the future is bright
