On behalf of the Directors of Hampshire FA, welcome to Winklebury Football Complex for the U15, U16 and U18 Girls Cup Finals. Reaching a final is a significant achievement. Both teams should be immensely proud of the journey they’ve taken to get here.
As we enjoy the competition, let’s remember that football is a game for everyone. We remain fully committed to our anti-discrimination campaign which seeks to raise awareness of the action taken against discrimination and poor behaviour in grassroots football. There is no place for prejudice in our sport –today is about celebrating participation, talent and good sportsmanship.

Hartland Girls U15s have had a fantastic season defined by growth, resilience, and teamwork. From the first whistle to the final match, the squad showed incredible determination and developed both their skills and confidence on the pitch.
Every player played a vital role in the team’s success, contributing to a strong, united spirit that carried them through tough challenges and memorable victories. The dedication at training and the support for one another truly set this group apart. It’s been a season full of proud moments, great performances, and lasting memories.

Where do I start? This group of girls have been outstanding all year. Their attitude and resilience have been exemplary in our toughest season to date.
They play the game with great spirit and never give up attitude, allowing them to perform at consistently high levels against excellent opposition week after week.
They are a pleasure to coach and train, and I am so pleased we have reached the final again as the team deserves it for their efforts all year.
Keep the faith Girls and continue the hard work from throughout the season and you just don’t know what might happen!

The players have consistently raised the bar, taking confidence from strong performances across our PGA development programme fixtures and testing themselves week in, week out against boy’s teams in the JPL.

At Millbrook Football Club we are very proud of our U18 Girls section and their achievements this Season.
Dean and the Girls represent themselves and our Club weekly in the best possible way on the Field and are a source of inspiration to the younger girls in the Club, with our Senior Women’s First Team playing in the First Division and application pending for promotion to the next Step in Women’s Football we have a pathway for these Girls to progress further in the Game and in our Club, we look forward to many more days like today with this great group of People.
