Metal Beasts is an 8x8 editorial booklet exploring the history and anatomy of the locomotive; from the iron engineering that built an era to the mechanical poetry of the machines themselves. Designed in the style of a vintage broadsheet, the publication pairs period-appropriate typography with public domain archival photography to capture the grit and grandeur of rail's golden age.
