In the context of renewable energy systems, the correct use of Residual Current Devices (RCDs) is crucial for ensuring electrical safety. For air source heat pumps, RCDs should be selected based on the specific electrical characteristics of the inverter, including its power rating and operational conditions whilst considering the manufacturer’s instructions.
