Travel Series The Travel Series is a truly unique range of ukuleles. They are made almost entirely from ABS plastic, but with a wooden top. These models have a Linden plywood top except for the TUS50 range which have a variety of different wooden tops. The arched back, plastic body allows for great sound projection. but also fantastic durability. There is no binding between the body and neck, which is also plastic and so will not bend. These ukuleles are perfect for beginners, for players that need a hard-wearing, portable uke but also for players looking for something a bit different.

SoundWave Range The SoundWave Pickup System allows the addition of reverb, delay and chorus effects without plugging into an amp! It amplifies the ukulele from inside the instrument and can be controlled with dials on the side of the ukulele. When the ukulele is plugged into an amp or PA system, the EQ and effects bypass the interior system and send the effects through the output jack. The Flight Soundwave Pickup System not only adds a new dimension to acoustic playing, but also gives the gigging musician complete control without the need of additional equipment other than a lead cable and the ukulele in their hand.

Accessories Flight has added a range of accessories to its offering. Players can now own Flight-branded stands, straps and capos in a variety of colours and designs. What’s more, Flight gig bags are now available to purchase separately for the first time; from the unpadded soprano all the way up to the deluxe tenor version. As well as this, Flight-branded, Japanesemade fluorocarbon strings are also available in two sizes; one suitable for soprano and concert sizes and one for tenor size.

These are the perfect gig bags for any laminate ukulele. It is tan in colour, for which Flight is widely recognised, with a front pocket, single backpack strap and two handles. The bags are lightly padded with 3mm of padding (except the unpadded UBS1), making them lightweight but thick enough to protect a laminate ukulele from bumps. The bags also feature the Flight logo on the front pocket.
These deluxe gig bags are what come free with Flight’s Princess and Royal Series. Their striking burgundy/red colour really make them stand out and the tough nylon shell, strong zipper and 15mm of padding will keep your instrument safe. These feature a front pocket with the Flight logo, two padded backpack straps and a thick, padded handle which balances the case perfectly for transport.
