I have always had an appreciation for art. I retired from the Air Force after 20 years. I had an additional career as a middle school teacher for 10 years. When I retired from that, and my children were grown and on their own, I found I had time to pursue my interest in art. For the past 4 years I have been exploring different media in my small basement studio here in Gainesville. I work primarily in acrylic painting, alcohol inks, and collages. I enjoy trying different techniques and have learned much from local artists and classes. It's fun, and I hope you enjoy seeing some of my work. I am interested to hear any feedback and always open to explore commissions. I do abstract florals, landscapes and abstracts/modern art.
