North Georgia Quilting Bee

The North Georgia Quilting Bee has been in existence for about 25 years The Bee first began meeting in the homes of members. As time progressed, the Bee began meeting at the Hall County Libraries. Currently, the Bee meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month in the Community Room of JEMCO (1000 Dawsonville Highway, Gainesville, Georgia, 30501) from noon until 4:30 pm

We may be called a Quilting Bee, but we actually work on any project involving needles and fibers, such as cross stitch, applique, crocheting, knitting, needlepoint, and any technique that provides a challenge Everyone is invited to attend our Bee.

Pictured Bee members from left to right are: Rachel Ficklin, Barbara Wyatt, Janice Brooks, Jeanie Whitworth, Ruth Matthews . Bee members not pictured are Sandy Butler, Barbara Coates, Rose King, Nancy Lawrence, Julie Monroe, and Ida Schwind
