“
As we close out Quarter 3, it’s great to reflect on another strong period for the business.
Projects & Practical Completion Across our projects, our teams have continued to deliver outstanding outcomes for clients, reach important milestones and strengthen collaboration between our Construction, Design and Estimating teams. Narrowly missing out on tenders such as 400 Queens St can be disappointing, but we recognise and appreciate the commitment our people continue to bring to the business. Every opportunity brings valuable lessons, and the effort invested helps us learn, improve and move forward. Another huge congratulations goes to Fortis and VSB teams on the Practical Completion on these projects. Both jobs look fantastic and the teams also delivered both projects several months ahead of contract. Thank you to everyone who played a part in bringing these projects over the line.
Audit Success This quarter also saw the successful completion of our annual SGS surveillance audit, an important achievement. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the audit process.
Welcome New Employees We would also like to warmly welcome the eight employees who joined Hacer during the quarter. Every new team member brings fresh perspectives, skills and energy to our business, and we look forward to seeing the contribution you make as you build your careers with us. Hacer Chaser

Vale Trent McClean While there have been many positive moments to celebrate, this quarter was also marked by the very sad passing of our colleague, Trent McLean. Trent was a valued member of the Hacer labour team. On behalf of the Directors, we extend our sincere condolences to Trent’s family, friends and colleagues. He will be remembered fondly and greatly missed.
Will Cooksley Award As we move toward the end of the year, it is important to recognise the people who continue to demonstrate excellence in everything they do. In the coming weeks, Claire will send out reminders for our annual awards, including the Quality Award, Safety Award and Will Cookesley Award. The Will Cookesley Award holds a special place within Hacer, recognising an employee under 30 who truly lives and breathes the Hacer Values every day. We look forward to celebrating our people’s achievements and acknowledging those who consistently demonstrate what makes Hacer such a great place to work. Thank you to everyone for your contribution throughout the quarter,

FORTIS RICHMOND & ASSEMBLE VSB
It’s with great pleasure to announce that we have received Practical Completion for both Fortis Richmond & Assemble VSB. The jobs both equally look tremendous and are a glowing testament to all the team involved in delivering the project several months earlier than contract. We wish to thank all the team involved in the projects for their hard work & tenacity in getting this over the line.
CLARENDON STREET

01 Project Updates
As the project progresses toward key structural milestones, Trackworks is nearing completion of its scope and is currently finalising the remaining slab-on-ground works. All three tower cranes are now fully operational, with the project’s three loading bays working at full capacity to efficiently support material handling and concrete pumping activities. I&D has successfully established the final of the three jump forms and is now fully mobilised on site, making strong progress through the podium suspended slab works. The project team continues to drive the structure program forward while undertaking the necessary checks, coordination, and quality assurance processes to ensure the project is well prepared for the commencement of façade installation and internal finishes. PARK MODERN
The project is progressing very well with the 4 level podium structure to be complete end October. We then move into the 2 tower sections with the target to have level 10 structure complete by Christmas. The façade procurement is on track and will commence in December along with apartment fit-out works.
VMCH ST. FRANCIS
Things are moving along swiftly on site! Protection works are now complete and site sheds have been installed. Trackworks have the piling platform ready to go with piling works set to start next week, which is a key milestone as the project moves into the ground. Following the success of St Clare, this is our second project with VMCH and the team is setting it up to be another great job.
ASSEMBLE SGRP
Our fifth consecutive project with Assemble has blasted out of the gates. All three Liebherr Tower Cranes are now installed and working hard to keep up with the rapid pace of I&D as they progress the structures upward. Big end to the year predicted with structure anticipated to reach levels 5 – 7 and mark the commencement of façade and fitout works below.

01 Project Updates
HOME ALBERT PARK
The curtain wall façade topped out in July, and all tower cranes, hoists and gantries have since been dismantled and removed from site. Internal fitout is moving along on Levels 13–17, Ground Floor to Level 10 is now energised, and the lower floors are locked off following client defect inspections. Common areas are starting to come to life, and the team has a big few months ahead as we push to hand over the project in early 2027.
JAM FACTORY STAGE 2
It’s been a big few months for the Jam Factory project with foundation piling works being completed, bulk excavation progressing to the the first half of site down to the bottom of the four level basement. It will be a busy finish to the year with the first of the four cranes scheduled to be installed in November and the first core jumpform scheduled for install in December. Additional works are continuing with hotel prototype rooms being built offsite. Procurement is well underway with all service trades and façade trades now onboard and joinery out to tender. The design team is working closely with Gurner and Marriott to lock in what the future St Regis hotel will look like.
437 ST KILDA ROAD (CBUS)
Plenty happening at 437, with strong progress continuing across the structure. Level 2 is now complete, the western core has reached Level 7 and the eastern core Level 6, while basement areas are transitioning into services and painting works. Façade production is also progressing well offshore, with the first frames arriving at port and the Level 1 GRC shipment on its way. The next big push is maintaining structural momentum, topping out the eastern core and gearing up for façade installation in November.

Hacer Futsal Each Monday night for the past couple of months the Hacer Futsal Team has been battling it out. After a very slow start including a couple of absolute drubbings the team have found themselves on the verge of a finals berth. The season though has not been without controversy with Captain Quadzilla Dun Chu making the call to drop club legend Tony Garifallou for 2 weeks without any explanation. If anyone is looking for a bit of extra exercise, please reach out to Dun to jump on the bandwagon before our finals run!

Wine Night & NBL Basketball Courtside Our wine night was a smashing success with Sam Whelan’s refined palette confidently picking up “notes of blackcurrant and oak” in what turned out to be sparkling water, while Ed Harmon swirled his glass with such intensity that we’re still checking the ceiling for Shiraz. Not for the first time this year Social Club Tsar Harry Trezise found himself in the votes and is firming as a strong favourite for End of Year awards. We also headed courtside to the NBL Throwdown at John Cain Arena for a fun night of beers, buffet and basketball! Heading into Christmas season a few of the stronger athletes are starting to separate themselves from the pack with Harry, Joubs and Sam Whelan still going strong well into the morning hours showing superior staying power to the rest of us. Another special mention to Harry, who to rub it in got up 6 hours later and casually trotted out a half marathon! If you are interested in joining the social club please contact Harry Trezise or Petsy (Tim).
