Gnaw Gnaw Gnaw Ragnar Aalbu
A beaver is building a dam in a stream. Unfortunately, this takes a heavy toll on the trees growing along the bank. One of those trees is home to a bird, who is determined to protect its nest — whatever the cost. This is going to get ugly. Gnaw Gnaw Gnaw is a picture book told almost entirely without words. The only text consists of sound effects and onomatopoeic expressions. Through Ragnar Aalbu’s witty visual storytelling, a simple conflict between a beaver and a bird escalates into a hilarious and dramatic showdown.

Her first book, Mieko Dances (2023), was awarded the Norwegian Ministry of Culture’s Picture Book Prize in 2023. MARIANNE GRETTEBERG ENGEDAL (b. 1986, also known as “Skinkeape”) is an author, illustrator, and chef. In recent years, she has gained recognition from critics and award juries. Along with Miyata-Jancey, she won the Norwegian Ministry of Culture’s Picture Book Prize in 2023 for Mieko Dances.

The Heart House

The Heart House is a wise, warm and gently humorous picture book for children aged 3-6, and marks Wencke Mühleisen’s debut as a picture book author. Graff has traveled extensively and has visited more than 80 countries throughout his professional career.
ALLAN GRØNSETH OHR (b. 1987) is from Kristiansund and is based in Trondheim. Ohr works as an illustrator, designer, and animator. The Dinosaur Who Wanted to Be a Pirate is his first picture book for children.
