Welcome to the summer edition of the 41 Club Magazine …
and what a sizzler it’s been with record temperatures across the country, dazzling football action on….and off… the field in the World Cup, 41 Club events both social and community in every corner of the Kingdom and President Kelly and his Board making an impact across the globe, with visits to the World Meeting in Mauritius, 41 Club Guests from 16 countries at the Southampton Conference and a group of Youth Ambassadors from several continents visiting the UK courtesy of 41 club family President Kelly & the Board hosts. As well as having fun and fellowship, in this issue, we deal with the distribution of resources across mandatory or fixed and recurring costs that any large organisation must meet and start to create a structure for investing discretionary spending in areas that are key to our core purpose (Aims and Objects). We’ll also take a broad look at the expectations of Club Members who seek opportunities for Fellowship, regular contact with others throughout the British Isles and indeed further afield. And finally, we’ll examine the role of the Management Board and Council in setting strategic direction to ensure our continued relevance to our membership and our environment. Across this and ensuing issues, we hope to celebrate all that is great about the largest men’s Fellowship movement in the country. Thanks to our National Councillors and many Club Secretaries who keep us informed about your Club & Community Projects, new member drives and celebrations of special events. Check out the stories of what our Regions and Clubs are getting up to and the list of National & Local Fellowship events. Many of the voluntary and Community Service projects are a credit to those who engage and to the 41 Club & Round Table movement as a whole. Finally, thanks for the support of my Comms and Communities Committee members whose skills, ideas, initiatives and enthusiasm help to drive our activities forward. S
ince taking office as National President, it has been an absolute whirlwind — busy, inspiring and hugely rewarding. I have already had the privilege of visiting many clubs, both small and large, and everywhere I have been I have seen the same warmth, fellowship and commitment that make our Association so special.

The diversity of meetings is huge from Hawaiian themed charter night to building a trebuchet and firing a basket ball to learning how to dance a ceilidh, speaker nights as there is a huge diverse range of topics so something to suit everyone to discussing how to keep a club alive rather than being the last man out and closing the door on a diverse and long history.

On my travels I have been spreading the word about membership, encouraging clubs to celebrate what they do well, to reach out to their communities, and to think positively about how we welcome new members and make this the go to club for men. My motto for the year is simple: Be the Spark. I want every member and every club to be the spark that encourages more activity, more fellowship and more community involvement. Sometimes it only takes one idea, one invitation or one conversation to start something bigger. Being the spark means encouraging clubs to try new events, strengthen friendships, support local causes and make themselves visible in their communities. It also means being the spark that helps generate new members — by sharing the value of membership, inviting others to join us, and showing that 41 Club remains relevant, active and full of opportunities. The visits so far have reminded me just how diverse and vibrant our clubs are. Some are large and long established, others are smaller but no less enthusiastic, and all have something valuable to contribute. Wherever I go, I see members working hard to keep fellowship alive, support one another and make a difference locally.
I have also had the honour of attending the World Meeting in Mauritius, which was a wonderful opportunity to represent our Association, share fellowship internationally and bring back fresh enthusiasm for the year ahead .On home soil i have also been to the classic car weekend a weekend full of car enthusiasts not all classics but new models straight out of the showroom, the highlight for a RAC rally fan was being able to drive the Kielder Forest road maybe not as fast as Colin McRae but the experience and wish to go at speed was there. Thanks go the team who organised the event in such a stunning part of the country in Northumbria.

There are many more visits planned for the months ahead, and I am looking forward to meeting more members, hearing more club stories and continuing to promote membership across the Association. There are still some visit dates available, so if your club would like me to attend, be it a club night, charter or cluster please complete the visit request form and send in your booking request as soon as possible. My charity for the year is Blood Bikes. Blood Bike groups are volunteer-led charities that provide a rapid response medical transport service, mostly out of hours meaning through the night, carrying vital items such as blood, plasma, medical samples, donor breast milk, patient notes, medicines, surgical instruments
and other urgent supplies for the NHS and air ambulance charities. Their work is provided free of charge, helping health services move essential items quickly while saving money that can be used for patient care. Across the UK and Ireland, Blood Bike groups rely on unpaid volunteers, public donations and fundraising to keep their bikes and support vehicles on the road. Their service is professional, practical and often life-saving — a perfect example of ordinary people choosing to be the spark in their own communities. Members will know that for many years the National Association of 41 Clubs has negotiated discount deals with many national companies, organisations and suppliers of everyday and luxury services. As well as bringing the benefit of special prices and offers to members, these arrangements also remit commissions to the Association to enhance funds and keep Capitation Fees as low as possible. These are based on expenditure levels by members. Moving Forward Together. As I travel around the country, I continue to meet committed members who care deeply about the future of 41 Club. Their enthusiasm gives me great confidence in what we can achieve together. By supporting existing clubs, helping new clubs to form, strengthening our links with Round Table and sharing successful ideas, we can continue to build a stronger Association.
We should be proud of our history and traditions, but they must never prevent us from preparing for the future. We must be willing to embrace new ideas, encourage new leaders and create opportunities for more members to become involved. The responsibility belongs to all of us. So, when there is a job to be done, an idea to pursue, a club to support or a member to encourage, we should ask ourselves:

LADIES CIRCLE
I
am Alice Watts and I am delighted to introduce myself as National President for Ladies Circle for 2026-27 – our Association’s 90th year. I joined Lichfield Ladies Circle in 2013. That year, one of our own Circlers, Ruth Curry, become National President. Immediately I “got it” and knew I wanted to ‘get involved’ with the Association at every level. When I moved up north in 2021, I rechartered Chester Ladies Circle and joined the National Exec shortly after. I live in Cheshire with my partner, Derek – a former RT Board member and current member of 41-Club. My theme for the year is “Find Your Voice” and the reason behind this is threefold: ● ‘Find Your Voice’ to discover a confidence within yourself ● ‘Find Your Voice’ to speak up for things you believe in ● ‘Find Your Voice’ to talk to others about Ladies Circle Before I joined Ladies Circle, I had lost my identity – I’d lost my voice - but when I joined, I immediately felt that I found my tribe. Through illness, divorce, life-changing relocations and job upheavals. It was my one constant. Circle helped me find my voice again.
My chosen charity is the King’s Trust, formerly The Prince’s Trust. The charity helps young people aged 11-30 helping them to develop specialist skills, build vital confidence, and gain access to mentors and financial aid. I am looking forward to seeing many of you at events throughout the year – especially the 90th anniversary celebration, Kelly’s Ball in October or at my own Wonderland themed ball which is taking place on Saturday 14th November at Chester Town Hall.

It was a privilege to organise my very first Region 4 Cluster Meeting, and I couldn’t be prouder of how the evening came together. In attendance was Chepstow 41 Active, Newport 41 Club, Tredegar 41 Club, Cambria 41 Club and Chepstow Offa’s Dyke 41 Club. We were also delighted and honoured to welcome 41 Club National President Kelly Clarke and Nick Richards National Councillor for Region 4. Bringing members together to share ideas, strengthen friendships and discuss the future of our organisation was exactly what I hoped to achieve. This is, I hope, just the beginning of regular
conversations and meetings that will encourage greater collaboration across Region 4, strengthen links and help drive the regeneration and growth of membership throughout 41 Club. A huge thank you to everyone who attended, contributed and supported the event. Your enthusiasm, ideas and willingness to work together made the meeting a real success. Together, we can achieve so much more, and I’m excited to see where this journey takes us. I look forward to seeing you all again at the next meeting as we continue building a stronger, more connected future. Thank you all for your support.

TANGENT PRESIDENT’S REPORT Turning Tangent Blue! I am truly honoured – and excited to have been installed as National President 2026-27 for the National Association of Tangent Clubs…..and what a way to start, celebrating my birthday at the joint 41 Club Tangent Annual Conference with cards, candles, cake and a chain of office. A truly special day indeed.
My badge & strapline I had a very clear idea of how I wanted these to look- and more importantly feel. The incredibly talented Adrian Wakefield, who is working with me on my PLC, took that vision and worked his magic and truly brought it to life. The little bears, together with my strapline ‘byyourside’ represent friendship, support and compassion, all cornerstones of what Tangent is all about – and what those living with dementia and their families and friends so desperately need.

He survived, having made the audience laugh and left the stage with a smile on his face! The biggest challenge we faced together was judging the Fancy Dress awards on Saturday evening – don’t let anyone tell you it’s an easy job!!

I chose Alzheimer’s Society to support this year and I was delighted that my contact within the society, Claire Frost, was able to join us at our AGM. So why Alzheimer’s? I am very fortunate that none of my close or extended family have – so far at least – been touched by this dreadful disease and for that I am very grateful. But many of my friends & their families – in both our Associations have seen their lives turned upside down with devasting and life-changing consequences.
We were sad that the lovely Jo Hudson, elected Membership Officer at the AGM, had to step down for personal reasons. The Tangent Executive support her decision and wish her well. We have just completed the reopened nomination process and I am glad to let you know that Gill Williams of Penarth & District Tangent is now in place.

CHAMPION YOUR STORY! Round Table President - Introduction
Please take time to read this inspiring story from the new RTBI President ‘Raz’. Our National Team is already working with him to build strong and collaborative bonds Sheraz (Raz) Shahid RTBI that will serve both organisations well into the future. Ed. “It’s easy to think your beginning determines your end. My story proves it doesn’t. From arriving in the UK with almost nothing to becoming the National President of Round Table Great Britain and Ireland, the throughline has been persistence, community and the courage to share a real story. In 2003 I arrived from Pakistan with no network and no certainty. For a time, I was homeless. Yet a quiet, stubborn belief kept me moving forward. Years later, a simple Round Table meeting changed everything not because of a title, but because of people who believed in me. This year my theme is “Champion Your Story” because every journey, however unfinished or imperfect has power. I didn’t arrive here as a future leader. I arrived with very little and a willingness to keep going. There were moments when doors stayed closed and
giving up felt like the easier option. But I learned that your starting point does not define your destination. Small choices showing up, working hard, staying positive add up. When I walked into my first Round Table meeting, I found more than friendship. I found people who gave their time, encouraged me to step forward and saw potential I hadn’t yet seen in myself. That belief changed me. When someone believes in you, it gives you the courage to keep going especially when things feel uncertain. Too many people hold back because they think their story isn’t impressive or finished enough. Stories don’t need to be perfect to be powerful. They need to be real. Sharing your journey can inspire someone who’s still finding their way. That’s why I’m asking every Tabler to champion their story because someone out there needs to hear it.

Membership isn’t always easy. Energy dips, numbers fluctuate and progress can feel slow. But if those who came before us had given up at the first challenge, none of us would be here. Round Table continues because it matters to new members, to lifelong friends and to the communities we serve. Don’t wait until your story is perfect. Don’t wait until you feel “ready.” Keep showing up. Keep supporting each other. Keep building something that lasts. Champion your story now - your journey can be the belief someone else needs.”

Our aim is simple: to provide greater support for clubs, strengthen membership, improve communication and secure the long-term future of 41 Club. Key Questions. Does the way we allocate members' funds recognise and reflect the expectations and aspirations of the members? The answer, I'm afraid, is the 'Curate's Egg'. Because of the diverse nature, history and demographic of our membership, all of which gives us strength, these also deliver widely varying interests, abilities and ambitions. With the national publications, digital media and the Fellowship events, we try to promote and cater for a wide range of tastes and influences and seek the greatest level of engagement. However, this is never enough and we therefore never stop trying to encourage involvement and encourage participation.

Activities

Firstly, thank you to those who have thoughtfully provided me with stories and images of the, stories and musings from members and Club Newsletters across the UK. From these I have gleaned some items of news, stories of interest and reports of worthy activities. Through the good offices of our IT Officer, Steve Tasker and Media Design Officer, Adrian Wakefield, the choicest of these have appeared in the National Newsletter or on our National Website. It has become apparent that many members and Club officers remain unfamiliar and therefore reluctant to engage with our online systems including the National Website and the Club Administration System (CAS) judging by the number of requests I receive for guidance to access. I am not unsympathetic to these
positions nor to the requests for assistance. However, I do feel that a focussed programme of training and orientation directed at those who seek to be compliant with Board expectations in payment deadlines and database management will ease concerns and improve cash flow. I have prepared proposals for such a programme and this will be considered by the Board, and perhaps the Council in due course. This should, of course, be run in conjunction with a phased debt control and recovery scheme.
Events I was fortunate to attend the Classic Car Rally weekend, held in my home county, Northumberland. An extremely well organised and attended event at which I and my wife were welcomed by a large group of enthusiastic ‘car nuts’. The fellowship was palpable and characterised the very essence of our core purpose. You can see some great images of the weekend elsewhere in this magazine
Communities This area has not received the same level of attention as the ever present and demanding communications platforms. However, a swift survey of any or all of our Clubs

will reveal that we have Parish or Town Councillors in our membership, Church Wardens, elders, lay preachers, Rotarians, committee members, counsellors, volunteers, Scout Leaders, patient transport drivers and myriad helpers of neighbours, the elderly and infirm, attending to community need not just weekly but daily. I hope to bring greater focus to this area in coming months by identifying the scale and breadth of this work, establishing a programme to encourage it as individual and team endeavour and capitalise on the branding potential for recruitment, public visibility & awareness and advanced PR.
Communications In conjunction with Immediate Past President, Jason Thomson, I introduced a range of communications and display equipment, provisionally housed at Marchesi House. The primary purpose is to make these available to National Officers, Councillors and Clubs on a free loan basis to use at local & regional events. to communicate our brand more effectively.

MARRIOTT’S WAY LITTER PICK Some of those who took part, from left Rick Fuller, Chairman Charles Dowding, Stewart Hull, Liz and Rex Humphrey, Peter Griffin At the Forecaster of the Year evening in January JT talked about the National 41 Club supporting the Great British Spring Clean week. Inspired by his words Wensum & Yare club organised a litter pick in Norwich! An intrepid band of members and wives set about the task to tidy our environment by litter picking along Marriott’s Way, a popular footpath and cycle way in the city. A total of 22 bags of rubbish were collected – coincidentally one for every member, as requested by JT! Chairman Charles Dowding said everyone had worked hard to clear as much litter as possible and we will now look at making this an annual event.

FELLOWSHIP REPORT
F
irstly, may I congratulate the Southampton Conference team for putting on a great weekend for our joint conference with Tangent back in April. The National Fellowship Events are now coming thick and fast over the next few months with the first already having been completed
22-24 May – Classic Car Weekend – Once again organised and hosted by my home Club, Dereham & District and based at Slaley Hall in Northumberland. Tours on the Saturday and Sunday followed the Northumberland 250 route taking in the fantastic scenery of the area. IT REPORT
W
e are continuing the migration of our systems and membership data to 41er.World, which represents a significant step forward for the Association. This transition will greatly enhance how we communicate and manage information across all levels — from the National Board through to individual clubs and members. The new platform is designed to provide improved accessibility, better data management, and more efficient updates for members. We are currently in the process of decommissioning the old 41club website. Every effort is being made to preserve as much historical data and content as possible. Once all relevant information has been successfully extracted, it will be passed to the National Archivist, ensuring that the association’s history is safeguarded for future reference. On a day-to-day operational level, backup solutions have been implemented and are performing reliably. These systems are essential in maintaining data security and continuity, providing reassurance that information is well protected.
Editor’s note IT Manager, Steve has extracted some Data Analytics (statistical information) on the access to and readership of our publications and most recently our monthly Newsletter, the Friday 41er which gives up to the minute news and information about our activities Nationally and around the Clubs. M
y first international duty was to attend the 41 Club International World Meeting in Mauritius. Zoe (my partner) and I headed out a few days early to combine our annual holiday with the world meeting. We met up with some 41 Club and Tangent members during the days leading up to the official weekend. It was really nice to meet some local members and spend time with their families. One of the many benefits of international 41ing is experiencing different cultures up close and personal. The world meeting itself took place over 3 days Thursday evening to Sunday morning. I attended and took part in a number of workshops on the Friday, and the World Meeting during the Saturday.
41 Club Int WM Workshops Workshops 1 – “One Family – One Mission” discussion This workshop looked at whether the Round Table Family could work together on a single global initiative (something akin to the Rotary Polio campaign). The discussion covered the benefits of having a shared purpose, , members from across the five family organisations generally agreed that Children and Education should be considered as the key themes for any future family-wide project

Workshop 2 – 41 Club Regions (Trial) – Next Steps A presentation was given on the ongoing development of a regional structure within 41 International. The initiative aims to strengthen cooperation between neighbouring associations, encourage the sharing of ideas and best practices. Workshop 3 – Reducing the cost of international events This workshop was held to explore ways of reducing the cost of international events while maintaining the value they provide to members. Discussions focused on travel and accommodation, event format, hospitality, and administration, with participants encouraged to challenge traditional approaches and identify where savings could be made. Workshop 4 – Reducing the cost of international events

The International Board presented its draft budget for 2027/28, highlighting a projected increase in expenses from approximately €54,800 to €64,900. The main drivers behind the increase were additional travel costs associated with a growing number of affiliated countries, board meetings, events in Nepal and South Africa, regalia, editorial support and administrative expenses.

It was fantastic to see my good friend Matthias bring his presidential year to a close after what was a brilliant weekend. The OTD team once again put on a superb event and were excellent hosts.

YOUNG AMBASSADORS TOUR 2026 Vice President, Trevor Langford met recently with delegates of the 2026 UK YAP Tour in Hampshire. Trevor said, “It’s a real privilege to meet this year’s Young Ambassador Programme (YAP) visitors today in Ringwood before I ride to Redditch for their 41 Club Games Evening and overnight with Andy Norris.” YAP Convenor, Past President, Wynn Parry drew on the support of Andy Ventress to complete arrangements. A huge thank you to Andy & Gail Ventress for the fantastic job they’ve done

Our Barclays friends are raising money for Nightingale House Hospice in Wrexham and are hoping to hit their target of £3k (currently around £2k) but lots more to collect So how did we do in that heat - we managed 44 miles - walking approximately 11 miles per day and are all very proud of our effort especially in such heat We loved the area and quite fancy another day trip just to finish off the last 6 miles miles !!! 41 Club Millennium Way Route

So despite closed or overgrown paths & blocked stiles, fields full of cows, horses, bison & potatoes- oh and a fair few diversions thanks to the construction of HS2 we had a really good 4 days taking in beautiful scenery, lots of laughs and friendship and we included lots of stops in any shade we could find

ONE SMALL STEP FOR MAN… There is an old saying in Table that if you put enough blokes in a room, give them a pint and a problem, eventually somebody will solve it. Or at least think they have…
O
n Thursday 18th June, Ellesmere Port XRT decided to test that theory by inviting over 45 past and present Tablers from 14 clubs Ellesmere Port Labour Club, for an evening entitled The Great Moon Hoax.
That, after all, is what fellowship looks like.
What could possibly go wrong? The answer, thankfully, was absolutely nothing.
What followed was a hugely entertaining presentation packed with humour, history, facts and just enough doubt to leave a room full of otherwise sensible men questioning everything they thought they knew. By the end of the evening there appeared to be three distinct camps. Those who believed every word. Those who believed none of it. And those who were mainly interested in whether the bar was still open.
From the moment members started arriving, it was obvious this was going to be one of those evenings that reminds us why we joined Table all those years ago. There were handshakes, backslaps, old stories being dusted off and, in some cases, improved beyond all recognition.

The beauty of evenings like this is that it really doesn’t matter whether you’ve known somebody for thirty years or thirty minutes. Within a remarkably short period of time everyone was talking, laughing and catching up as if no time had passed at all.
The evening’s speaker was Dr Steve Barrett VCM from the University of Liverpool, who had been entrusted with the small task of explaining whether mankind really landed on the Moon. No pressure there then.
As the debate continued around the room, it became increasingly clear that if NASA had wanted a definitive answer, they probably shouldn’t have asked a gathering of Tablers and 41ers.Yet the real success of the evening wasn’t the speaker. It wasn’t the food. It wasn’t even the fact that Cheadle & District 41 Club managed to find Ellesmere

Port without the assistance of a search party. It was the fellowship. In total, men from 14 clubs came together for no other reason than to enjoy each other’s company. No AGM. No constitutional debate. No motion from the floor. No discussion about the colour of the new pin badge. Just friendship, laughter and the sort of camaraderie that has always sat at the heart of Round Table and 41 Club. Indeed, this was exactly the type of event National Fellowship Officer Stuart Bizley must be championing – grassroots fellowship, local clubs taking the initiative and members coming together because they want to, not because they must. Sometimes we make things far more complicated than they need to be. The formula is actually quite simple. Find a good speaker. Invite good people. Put on good food. Open the bar. Everything else tends to take care of itself. A special thank you must also go to Chef John and his team at The Olive Tree, together with our friends at Ellesmere Port Labour Club, whose support, hospitality and assistance helped make the evening such a success. The food was excellent, the service
first class and the venue proved once again why it has become such a popular meeting place for Ellesmere Port Round Table and XRT Clubs. Events like this are only possible because of the hard work that goes on behind the scenes, and we are extremely grateful for their support. Our thanks go to Dr Steve Barrett for a superb presentation, National President Kelly Clarke for his support, and to every member who made the effort to attend. Most of all, thanks go to the members of Ellesmere Port XRT who had the idea, organised the evening and demonstrated that local clubs remain the beating heart of our Association. As the evening finally drew to a close and members headed home, only one question remained unanswered. Did man really land on the Moon? To be fair, after listening to some of the theories being discussed in the bar afterwards, we’re still not entirely convinced that everyone present had landed back on Earth.

NONAGENARIAN MEMBERS AT DUNDEE 41 CLUB Two of our members in Dundee 41 Club have both turned 90 years old and have dedicated themselves to Dundee 41 Club having spent 50 years of continued membership, with an excellent attendance record. y 41 Club friend and I attended the 2024 National AGM where Steve James, then the National President, asked everyone in the conference room to stand up. He then asked those who had taken a PSA test in the previous year to sit down. My friend and I sat down. Amazingly over half of the delegates probably 500/2=250, average age over 65, were still standing.
of the coffee date, he telephoned my friend and told him that he was unable to join us as he was at a hospital clinic undergoing tests. His test results came back, investigations having revealed that he too had prostate cancer and that also had spread to his spine. My 41 Club was once one of the largest in the National Association, but now, most of our members are over 85 and no longer attend so we are down to 12 active members. There is nothing special about us or where we live, we each have distinctively different backgrounds and working histories so how can we account for 25% of us having prostate cancer? Now, if the 250 members mentioned above still have not been to their doctor and requested a PSA test, I urge them:Go and get tested today and encourage your male friends of a similar age to do the same. Remember, there are no symptoms until it is too late.
I already knew that I had prostate cancer diagnosed as Grade 1, the lowest prostate cancer grade while my friend regularly had his PSA test each November. I’m now 77 and my PSA results have ranged from 3.6 in January 2013 to 9.4 in October 25. During this time, it has ranged from 3.6 to 16.8, but this high score was shortly after a water works infection. My consultant at the time told me not to worry if my PSA goes up as long as it comes down again, and a couple of months later it had dropped to 6.9. However, I did have a biopsy to be sure. I am still Grade 1.
January 26, we had an indoor visit to an exhibition, meeting at lunchtime for a meal with the visit in early afternoon. Another member apologised because he was struggling to walk. His mobility had got worse over the last few months and so we arranged to pick him up a few days later and go for coffee. On the morning

In November 25, my friend went to his GP for his annual PSA blood test and was shocked when it came back at 25.6. His GP referred him to the local Urology Department and he immediately underwent an MRI scan. Sadly, this revealed active prostate cancer which had spread to his spine. He now has prostate cancer and bone cancer both active. He has not been put off, apart from a few aches and pains he has no prostate cancer symptoms because there aren’t any, so on we go with our meetings programme.
When I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, I knew nothing about it so I telephoned a Round Tabler that I knew who was a General Practice doctor. He reassured me, if a survey was taken of all men over 80, 65% of them would have prostate cancer and most don’t know!. More men die WITH IT than OF IT. If all men lived long enough, probably up to 150 years old, we would all die of prostate cancer. I am relaxed, mine is not active and I have regular check-ups. I have my PSA taken every 6 months and am taking preventative medication.

lgarve, Portugal — Algarve 41 Club has announced the appointment of Kevin Ferriby as Chairman for the 2026–27 year, following the Club’s Annual General Meeting, which formed part of a successful three-day programme of fellowship, sport and celebration. At the AGM lunch held at the O Farol restaurant in Rocha Brava, members confirmed Kevin Ferriby as the incoming Chairman, with Chris Lester taking up the role of Vice Chairman. The appointments mark the beginning of a new chapter for Algarve 41 Club as it continues to promote friendship, community spirit and active engagement among its members across the Algarve.

Speaking after the AGM, the outgoing chairman, Kendal Milne, welcomed the new appointments and expressed confidence that the Algarve 41 Club was in good hands under the new leadership team, who will guide it through another active and successful year. With the Club now in its 41st year, members and partners continue to meet twice a month on the first and third Tuesdays, the latter being a social dinner, and of the thirty-eight members thirteen are now resident on the Algarve. “Overseas” members come from the UK, Ireland and Finland.
