MEMBER SURVEY, 2022 In 2018, GVR engaged the National Research Center (NRC) to conduct a comprehensive survey of the membership. Through a joint commission by GVR and what is now the Green Valley Council, NRC had previously conducted a survey of Green Valley residents in 2010. The February 2018 survey was issued to all 21,593 GVR members. The May 2010 survey was issued to 3,000 randomly selected residents. Results in each of those surveys were similar in several areas:
Where the surveys revealed changes:

In 2018, 70%

respondents.

wanted most were walkable trails and open space, more weekend and evening activities, a fitness studio with cardio equipment, and a shaded pavilion. Most of those priorities have been resolved or are in-process and GVR is eager to hear what’s on the minds of members today.
On Monday, October 17, 2022, another comprehensive survey will be distributed. The National Research Center has merged with another national firm and is no longer an affordable option. For this survey, GVR has engaged Zelos, LLC, the firm that facilitated GVR’s current Strategic Plan and conducted the associated survey in 2021. Continued on page 6.
