‘Our future is electric’
- three-mile walk held in commemoration of CARICOM Energy Week 2022
President Dr. Irfaan Ali on Saturday morning participated in the Regional Kilo Walk to commemorate CARICOM Energy Week 2022. The three-mile walk was organised by the CARICOM Secretariat, in conjunction with the Guyana Energy Agency (GEA) under the theme, “Our Future is electric”.President Ali was accompanied by Prime Minister Brigadier (Ret’d ) Mark Phillips; British High Commissioner to Guyana Ms. Jane Miller; GEA Head Dr. Mahender Sharma; CARICOM Deputy Secretary-General Mr. Alexis Armstrong; and representatives from the respective agencies.
