The Government has intensified its nationwide flood response following days of heavy rainfall that have affected several communities across Guyana, with President Dr. Irfaan Ali leading coordinated assessments and response efforts on the ground. An emergency Cabinet meeting chaired by President Ali was convened on Saturday morning, bringing together Cabinet ministers and local government leaders to review the situation, and deploy teams to affected regions
