President Dr Irfaan Ali, on Tuesday, received a cheque valued at GY$110.8M from the National Ramadan Village Organising Committee. The funds were raised through donations from Guyanese to support humanitarian efforts in Palestine and will be delivered to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine refugees (UNRWA), to assist those affected by the ongoing war.
