Agriculture Minister, Zulfikar Mustapha, on Saturday, conducted a site visit to the new bean conditioning and storage facility at Kimbia, Region 10, where works are progressing on a major agricultural, infrastructural project aimed at strengthening Guyana’s capacity to store, condition and process beans. The facility is being developed with six silos, each with a storage capacity of 250 tonnes, providing a combined capacity of 1,500 tonnes. It will also include two wet bins, two dry bins, a warehouse and a processing plant
