Pizza anyone?
A little diplomacy, a little dough, and plenty of flavour set the tone on Wednesday night as Prime Minister, Brigadier (Ret’d) Mark Phillips, attended the European Union Cultural Event and Pizza-Making Competition. The event was hosted by the Delegation of the European Union in Guyana and led by European Union Ambassador to Guyana, HE Luca Pierantoni, bringing together chefs for a lively evening of friendly competition, culture, and creativity. Chefs competed in two categories, Traditional Neapolitan Pizza and Guyanese Gourmet Pizza, putting both classic techniques and bold local flavours on full display (OPM photos)
