The Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce’s team and partners were on Thursday at the National Stadium, Providence, putting the final touches in place for the opening ceremony of the Guyana Festival, which begins at 17:00hrs today. The spectacular affair is expected to set the tone for what the public can expect on Saturday and Sunday. In addition to booths and entertainment events, the organisers have added an amusement park.
