On Tuesday, His Excellency President Dr Irfaan Ali held discussions with an executive team from Republic Bank Guyana at State House. The team was led by the bank’s Managing Director Stephen Grell and Director on the Board of Directors, Richard Lewis. Discussions focused on the bank and the government collaborating on innovative projects such as the development of Silica City, Guyana’s first modern and sustainable city, which is located on the Soesdyke-Linden Highway. Senior Minister within the Office of the President with responsibility for Finance and Public Service Dr. Ashni Singh, and Minister of Housing and Water Collin Croal were also part of the meeting (OP photo)
