Abnormally intense rainfall of 96.7 mm in less than four hours during the early hours of Thursday led to flooding in parts of the city. The National Drainage and Irrigation Authority (NDIA) immediately deployed all necessary resources. All 15 drainage pumps and every sluice were fully operational, working around the clock to bring relief to affected communities. Most areas have been successfully drained, and teams continue to monitor the situation closely (Delano Williams photo)
