Construction is progressing rapidly on the multibillion-dollar Palmyra Multi-purpose Stadium in Region Six. The sod was turned at the site in May 2023 and works are on track to be completed by the end of this year. Once completed, the facility will seat close to 10,000 persons for sporting events in the region, including 6,800 in the general seating area, 300 in a VIP area and 2,600 on the grass mound.
