likened the situation to that of the U.S. Embassy in Guyana being without an Ambassador for 14 months before he was appointed. “But obviously, having a head is better than not having a head and I do hope that the President and Mr. Jagdeo meet and reach some sort of consensus, or make a decision. I think it would be good for the country as a whole,” said Ambassador Holloway in response to questions on the subject.
