The GHS Color Guard is kicking off preparations for the indoor season with a little friendly competition! Each group was challenged to create their own choreography and choose music that captured the emotion they wanted to express The focus was on teamwork, creativity, and having fun while keeping a unified look across performances Every team rose to the challenge and delivered incredible routines We can’t wait for you to see what’s in store this winter guard season!
ADMIRALBANDNIGHT!
Although it was Senior Night, we were thrilled to welcome our 8th grade students from BVMS and GCMS! The Admiral Band had an amazing time giving them a taste of what it’s like to perform under the Friday night lights. Together they played a mix of high school favorites and fun middle school tunes, creating one unforgettable night filled with music, laughter, and spirit. We can’t wait to officially welcome the Class of 2029 into the Admiral Band family next year!

VETERANSDAYCELEBRATIONS

The Gulfport High School Admiral Band proudly participated in the City of Gulfport’s Veterans Day Parade in downtown Gulfport! Students and staff had a wonderful time honoring and celebrating our veterans during this special event In addition to the parade, the GHS Fine Arts Department also took part in the school’s Veterans Day celebration. The Strings Department provided beautiful prelude music in the school foyer, the Band performed all the military fight songs, the Choir delivered a heartfelt rendition of the National Anthem, and the Art Department showcased stunning artwork created in tribute to our veterans We are so proud of our students and their dedication to honoring those who have served.
