CONDITIONS Essays, transcripts, and completed applications must be delivered to Gulf Credit Union’s Groves office no later than March 1, 2023. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure timely delivery of the entry. The awards are intended to help pay for tuition. Funds will be disbursed directly to the recipient’s account, provided the student submits proof of enrollment. Applicants’ identities will be withheld from the judges until finalists are selected. The Scholarship Committee may conduct personal interviews of all finalists on a preset date, at which time the application will be used to establish the general character of the applicants and to help determine the winners.
All entries become the property of Gulf Credit Union. Essays, photos of winners, and other information may be published as deemed appropriate without further consent of the student applicant or parent/guardian. Students who submit an application certify the information provided is correct to the best of their knowledge. Falsification of information will automatically disqualify a student from receiving any scholarships. Students agree that if awarded a scholarship, Gulf Credit Union may share their name, photo and scholarship information with local media, social media and/or the Gulf Credit Union website.
