A Letter From The President We appreciate our members and want you to know we are here for you as we all navigate through another year filled with challenges from the ongoing Covid crisis and unpredictable weather events. The mantra I put forth for our credit union this year has been Keep Moving Forward. We have tried to balance the safety of our employees and being available to service your financial needs in all locations throughout the year. We have assisted our neighbors in Louisiana as they have dealt with yet another hurricane, and continue to help within our local

No doubt by now you have heard that we have sold a portion of our Groves campus that will become the home of a new fastfood restaurant. Together we CAN make a difference. This year, we were able to host a Food Drive at each one of our credit union locations, benefitting our local Community CarePrayer Outreach. The food drive was held from October 1 through November 1. With an overwhelming response from our members and our staff, we were able to donate over 1100 pounds of food to our local community. Thank you all for your generosity and support.

Announcing our New Employees Gulf Credit Union is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Bambi McGinn to the position of Chief Information Officer. Bambi joins Gulf Credit Union’s executive team with over 23 years of financial industry experience. She is responsible for overseeing all facets of information systems, technology, cyber security, and leading the organization’s digital transformation initiatives. Bambi attended Lamar University, earned certifications in ACH and project management, and is a graduate of Southwest CUNA Management School. She Bambi McGinn believes strongly in the credit union philosophy, Chief Information Officer “People Helping People” and has a passion for automating processes by utilizing technology, vision, and experience across multiple functional areas. Bambi is a native Southeast Texan and resides in Hamshire, TX with her family.

16 Years of Service Teri Ashworth has been an integral part of the credit union for 16 years. During her tenure with the credit union she has held the positions of Teller, FSR, Collection Representative and most currently Bridge City Branch Manager. We want to thank her for her hard work, dedication and commitment to the credit union. She will be greatly missed. In appreciation of her commitment to the credit union we celebrated her retirement October 28 at the Bridge City Branch.
