OUR EVENT SPACES

Smith Creek Meeting Hall

We have a meeting hall here in the Smith Creek Village that could be perfect to host your event. The meeting hall has a front and back patio. There is a wood accent wall,  a mural of a Smith Creek bridge, sixteen rectangular 8-foot banquet tables and 85 padded chairs in the meeting hall that you are welcome to set up at the beginning of your event to your chosen layout. (There is an additional fee for our staff to assist with set-up of our tables or chairs within the Meeting Hall or Meadows). Featuring 2 multi-stalled restrooms within the hall and a projector that you are welcome to add on for only $25, provided that you have your own IT person.

Davidson Ranch

Known by locals as the “Old Ranch “, our historic 1880’s former sheep ranch is now a bunkhouse event space featuring a commercial kitchen with plenty of prep surfaces, refrigeration, and a freezer. A central stone fireplace (with firewood included), 10 (8x3) picnic tables inside, and 4 outside, plus two patio sets for all your loved ones to gather around in celebration. Open up the barn doors and increase your indoor/ outdoor party space! Two multi-stalled restrooms, a large wood table that is perfect for those sweet treats, an ADA bunkroom downstairs which would be a bustling space for your wedding party to get ready on your big day.

Parking for 27 vehicles Day-use parking permits for up to 30, that guests can use to visit the Trail of 10 Falls. For those with a flair for the rustic aesthetic surrounded by tranquil protected wildflower meadows, with plenty of space for the outdoor ceremony of your dreams, located in an awe-inspiring forest setting here in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains for marvelous portraits and jovial times.

Foothills Ranch

Nestled in the tall trees this 50+ year old ranch is a fantastic choice for your special event. This rustic bunkhouse event space has a commercial kitchen with stainless steel prep surfaces and refrigeration, a central stone fireplace with firewood included, 8 (8x3) picnic tables inside, additional seating set with coffee table, a round table and chairs, and several more picnic tables outside. There are multiple balconies for all your loved ones to gather in a glorious woodland setting or for a fantastic wedding portrait at sunset. Featuring two multi-stalled restrooms, an ADA bunkroom downstairs which would be a bustling space for your wedding party to get ready on your big day, Dayuse parking permits for up to 30 vehicles. Endless options for photography, an open meadow area for the outdoor ceremony of your dreams, in an awe-inspiring forest setting with forest trails surrounding the property.

Smith Creek Meadows

Have you always envisioned an outdoor wedding celebration, birthday party or event? We have plenty of outdoor event space here in the Meadows of Smith Creek Village; with your choice of location in our Ceremony Meadow, complete with an altar stage with an arbor for you to decorate, or McKenzie Meadow, with expansive outdoor options surrounded by tall trees (power is available in nearby structure) or Drake’s Meadow, central to the Village.

Bring your planner and create your vision with your dream team of rentals, catering, florist, photographer etc.

$700 per meadow for an 8 hour rental + a bonus set-up hour.

Bigleaf Courtyard

Celebrate your event with those nearest and dearest to you in our outdoor courtyard behind our Bigleaf Market & Grill, here in the Smith Creek Village! Surrounded by trees and some romantic string lights, this courtyard is right next to Smith Creek and our Smith Creek Meeting Hall. The courtyard is complete with 12 picnic tables, and a stone firepit with benches for a bonfire (Wood is provided; Fire season restrictions do apply). Multi-stalled Public Restrooms  available at front left of the Bigleaf Market & Grill.

Upper Smith Creek Meeting Hall

This meeting hall has an occupancy of 30. It was originally built in the 1930’s as a Girl Scout camp, with the surrounding 8 tiny cabins. We can have the number of chairs for your party within the meeting space. There is a refrigerator within the space, plus there are 2 multi-stalled restrooms, with a shower in each outside the hall doors.

This space is used for small groups and private gatherings.

A FANTASTIC OPTION FOR YOUR WEDDING PARTY TO GET READY FOR THE BIG DAY! JUST SCHEDULE YOUR HAIR/ MAKE-UP ARTIST AND BRING ANYTHING YOU’D NEED. ADD ON OUR FULL-LENGTH MIRROR, PLUS TABLE TOP MIRRORS FOR $50.

Smith Creek Village can accommodate 82 adults and 8 children. Our cabins have double or triple occupancy ranging in price from $59-98 person/per night- but it would be more if you needed to use them for single occupancy. Bedding, towels, soap, shampoo & conditioner and games provided.

Family Cabins LODGING

We have 4 Family Cabins; Each sleeps 12

The Alder Cabin has ramp access, a roll in shower with chair, and an accessible parking space near the cabin

• There are two rooms with one queen bed in each

• 4 rooms with 2 XL twins in each.

• There are 2 restrooms with multiple stalls, plus shower and hair dryer

We have 8 Upper Smith Creek Village tiny cabins with 1/2 bath

• Located ¼ mile from lower Smith Creek Village

• Each cabin has a toilet room, with a sink within the studio cabin space

• Showers located at adjacent USCV Meeting Hall

• 2 cabins have a Double Bed / 4 cabins have Double bed and one small futon

• 2 cabins have 3 XL twin beds

• 2 cup coffee maker and tiny fridge in each

• Parking area nearby

• Event space would be the Upper Smith Creek Meeting Hall

• Perfect for smaller groups and private gatherings

*Your date will be held for up to 7 days while you sign the Venue Agreement and pay deposits for event space and room block.

THE FINE DETAILS

• Kindly Note: An additional $250 cleaning fee will be applied to all Cabin, Ranch, Meadow and Meeting Hall reservations that were not left as tidy as they were received, or if you do not return the furniture to its original location at time of check-out.*

• NO nails, staples, glues, screws, tacks, or the like on the walls, ceilings, or floors;

• NO glitter, rice, confetti, silk or non-native flower petals, bird seed, balloons or silly string anywhere on property.

• Electronic Candles only, NO flame candles, even in glass enclosures; No Sparklers or fireworks!

• Lighting and Sound is up to the client to arrange, as are all of your vendors.

• Parking on grass in not permitted.

• It is mandatory to obtain Event Insurance for our event spaces. Our Event Manager is happy to share contact info of a local insurance agent. A copy of the event insurance must be shared with us and will be kept on file.

Fire restrictions for all outdoor firepits will be in accordance with local fire bans during dry weather conditions to eliminate any fire danger in our 9000+ acre park. Thank you for your understanding.

10pm Noise Ordinance. You are welcome to keep your party going, but all amplified music, and loud outdoor voices must end at 10:00 PM. The sound of your party should not carry over to the nearby ranch or campground. Park Rangers may visit you otherwise.

• Must submit 2 weeks prior to event: Catering team’s insurance and food handler’s permit, PLUS event bartender(s) must provide OLCC cards. A copy must be shared with us and will be kept on file.

• Please provide all cookware, utensils, equipment and supplies for within the Ranch kitchens.

• Bounce houses and archery are not permitted, Water slides are not permitted. You are welcome to bring yard games!

Security Deposit There is a $2500 Security Deposit required. Your deposit, minus any damages, will be returned to you after check-out.

Showers for Ranches:

Ranches have multi stalled restrooms, but showers are available in the B loop campground with limited parking

Tents:

As per OPRD regulations, tent stakes may only be 6 inches in the ground, or they may be weighted to secure. Our Event Manager has tent rental recommendations for you!

Wayfinding Signage:

We have 3 A-frame signs that say “WEDDING” that point towards the event spaces. Do not attach signs or balloons to road signs, OPRD signs, gates or infrastructure. They will be removed. If you wish to make a custom sign for the final turn, please submit to our team for approval, and use painters’ tape to add to A frame sign.

Day-of Coordination & Rain Contingency Plan:

We highly recommend you hire a Wedding Planner or Day-of Coordinator to help you connect all the dots. You and your planner are encouraged to think about options in the event of rain or extreme heat. (Note: the park has restricted water rights and hoses are not available.)
