Stay Weather Aware
Keep your phone charged and watch official GSWS communications for delays, park updates, and return-to-play information.
Seek a Safe Location When Directed
During thunderstorms, high winds, or other severe weather, avoid open fields, trees, light poles, tents, and temporary structures.
Use Caution
Rain and changing conditions can create slippery surfaces or standing water around the park.
Follow Park Instructions
If conditions require the park to be cleared, please follow directions from GSWS, park, and emergency personnel.
Plan Ahead
Teams should know their transportation plan in case activities are temporarily suspended.
Wait for the All-Clear
Please do not return to the fields until official communication is provided.
Our goal is simple: keep everyone informed, comfortable, and safe while getting everyone back on the fields as soon as conditions allow.
