Member News Dear Members, We’ve hit the sweet spot in the annual club calendar. My team and I are so happy to have the pool open, to see the return of patio weather and to see children around the club on weekdays as well as weekends. We have a number of returning staff members at the pool grill and in the lifesaving crew. We hope that this will make you feel right at home immediately and that the feeling will be one of last summer never really ending. With the arrival of high season, we look for ways to maximize service, in efficient ways. Members may assist us in this goal by making dining reservations for the time they intend to occupy the table they have reserved. This will help us with staffing and to avoid being overbooked in any one time slot. In other words, please enjoy cocktails, pre dinner, but please make your reservation for the time you intend to be seated, post happy hour. We encourage parents with young children to refamiliarize themselves with our rules pertaining to children in club dining areas, including the bar. This information can be found on our app and on our website. For safety and with the return of soccer, lacrosse and dodgeball on the lawn, autonomous mowing of the pool- tennis lawn will take place overnight, through the summer season. Also, for safety, private cart owners are reminded to park in the approved zones, and never on the lawn near the tennis courts or tennis shop. Our pool season this summer will exceed 100 days. Don’t miss the Kick off on Saturday, June 6th, and do not forget to make your Independence Day reservations; it’s the best party in town. Come see us, Sam

You can contribute anytime and in many ways: a check, billed on your account (lump sum or monthly), or through Will Bequests and life insurance beneficiaries. Our mission for this fund is to “leave it better than we found it.” For more information, please reach out to the GSVHC administrative offices or to Rusty Ward, Heritage Committee Chairman. We hope you will consider additional giving to help our Club for generations to come.

GSVHC Swim Team We are excited for the Green Spring Foxes Summer Swim Team to begin! The goal of the team is to be a fun, low-key activity that can foster friendships at the club and help children build their swimming skills. We have two fantastic coaches, Lily Athey and Connor Tiffin, who led the squad last season and are returning for this summer. Please encourage your kids and club friends to join us. ** There are no expectations to be present for the whole season. Drop in when you can. We will kick the season off on Tuesday, June 9th with our first practice followed by an Ice Cream Party for the swimmers. A Note from Head Racquets Professional, Duncan Miller We are in full force for another fun summer on the courts at GSVHC! We are excited to have Olivia Tracey who is returning for her third season at GSVHC. And we would like to welcome Alex Fragasso who will be spending his first season working here. There will be weekly tennis camps for our juniors starting June 1st through the week of July 27th. Certain weeks are just tennis, a variety of racquets sports, or tennis and golf camps. Please reach out and check the flyers for additional information regarding ages, times and pricing. We will be having some Junior Interclub Practices and Matches for our kids who are looking for some more competitive play opportunities in a social setting. Those practices will be held on Tuesdays, June 9th, 16th and 23rd from 1:30-3:00 p.m. and Matches will be at surrounding clubs on Thursdays, June 11th, 18th and 25th from 1:303:30 p.m. if you are curious if your child is ready for our junior interclub team, please do not hesitate to reach out. On Sundays from June 14th onward we will have a Teen Cardio Clinic from 11:00am-12:00 p.m. for our juniors ages 13-19 years old.
