Situated above Gsteig at an altitude of 1,700 metres, this charming hut offers a breathtaking view over Gstaad and the Saanenland. Built in 1783, it once served as summer accommodation for farmers and their livestock. Today, such huts have become rare – all the more reason why the Walig Hut has been carefully renovated with great respect for its history and preserved in its original simplicity.
Whether for a private lunch or dinner in a small group or for an overnight stay, the Walig Hut invites you to pause for a moment. Surrounded by alpine tranquillity and unspoilt nature, it offers an experience that is both relaxing and moving, and one that lingers in the memory for a long time to come.
