Activity Approvals & Decision Tree Activity Approval requests are required for activities that may put your Girl Scouts or you as a volunteer at a higher risk than typical Girl Scout activities. Approval requests can only be submitted at gsnetx.org/activityapproval. Use the information and decision tree below to help determine if you need to submit an activity approval. Still have questions? Troops, groups, clubs, and service units all need to submit activity approval requests if their activities fall into the following categories: Activity or meeting taking place at a private home gsZoom virtual event recording Activity regarding a sensitive topic Money-earning activity / fundraising Activity requiring a signed contract Overnight activity Activity considered high adventure, high-risk, Troop Funds Agreement or requiring council-approval as outlined in Safety Activity Checkpoints (gsnetx.org/safetycheckpoints)
Travel, overnights, and camping at a non-GSNETX property require an Activity Approval.

Activities about sensitive issues require an Activity Approval and parents/caregiver permission is needed.
Any activities that require council approval should be submitted as an Activity Approval request.
