HappyFeet Soccer HappyFeet uses nursery rhymes, songs, stories, and fun games with a soccer ball to maximize motor development. PK and JK kids love acting out nursery rhymes and have a blast with fun games. In one HappyFeet class, students get hundreds of touches on the ball, building their confidence and basic technique while preparing them to be leaders on and off the field. Grades: Pre-Kindergarten and Junior Kindergarten Instructor: Marie Busse

Thanksgiving The little chefs will be assembling pumpkin patches. Using piping bags filled with icing, they will be decorating foundation cakes/brownies. They will top their cakes with green grass, pumpkins, and pretzel gates. The little chefs will learn basic piping techniques, how to assemble and glue with icing, and flex their creativity by designing their pumpkin patch. Date: Wednesday, November 20 Time: 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Location: Anchor Center Cafeteria Cost: $25 Holiday Cheer In this class, students will be celebrating Jesus’ birthday by making birthday cakes. Each student will receive a home-baked, round cake, and will learn how to half the cake, fill it with cream or icing, and decorate it with Christmas colors. Growing Gardeners Let's get dirty with the Growing Gardeners. Through interactive play, we will learn all about nature and our responsibilities towards keeping it clean. Children will have the opportunity to get their fingers dirty while having fun! New Ballet Ensemble: Tap This tap class is a natural progression from Creative Movement. The Brain Dance is included in the curriculum and built upon. This beginner tap class will focus on basic rhythm, volume, timbre and building-block steps. Fundamental tap steps including, flaps, shuffles, steps, toes, heels, hops, ball changes and pickups, will all be explored. Students should wear a pink leotard and skirt or black pants and white shirt along with socks, and tap shoes. Students MUST have tap shoes that fit appropriately. No tights! Please note that ballet will be offered in the spring. Middle School Study Hall Middle School Study Hall is held Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday during the fall semester. Study Hall is held in various middle school classrooms and is proctored by a middle school teacher. Students meet in Lass Hall and a snack is provided. When carpool is over, they will head to Study Hall. You can pick up on Lemaster in front of the middle school red doors at 4:30 p.m. or your child may go to ACE: After School. If a student is not registered, you will receive a drop-in fee for that day. Ninja Coding/Lego Club Do you have what it takes to become a Ninja coding master and master Lego builder? If so, then join our “dojo” for an amazing mashup of building and coding…Coding Club meets Lego Club. Our Sensei will help young ninjas focus on coding and programming skills, teaching them how to link creativity to code, throughout a variety of challenges that will help learners gain confidence in coding, math, logic, and problem solving during the first six weeks of class. The last six weeks of class will focus on coding with Legos and tons of other fun building challenges and games. ACE @ Play

ACE @ Play provides students with a fun and safe environment on select days when students are off school. ACE @ Play is available to all GSL students. PK

Registration: Registration for ACE @ Play is managed through UltraCamp. Families must register in advance to avoid late fees. A late fee of $15 begins one week before the camp begins. Registration will close three days before the ACE @ Play date. Students must be registered to attend.

ACE @ Play does not include students who are registered full time for ACE After School. These students must still be registered for each ACE @ Play day available.

If an upcoming ACE @ Play date is not listed in UltraCamp, that means registration is closed.

ACE: Enrichment Policies

REGISTRATION UltraCamp is used to manage all registration and billing activity for ACE: Enrichment. An UltraCamp account with a card on file is required to register. Families new to UltraCamp will be taken through the process of creating a new user account. Advanced registration is required for each ACE: Enrichment offering. Classes are filled on a firstcome, first-served basis. Registration will remain open until a class is full or until the day before a class begins. Please enroll early. Confirmation of ACE: Enrichment reservations will be sent via email. Class times, dates, and locations can be found on UltraCamp or in this brochure. PAYMENT INFORMATION There are two options to pay for ACE: Enrichment classes: 1. Pay in full at the time of registration 2. Pay 50 percent at the time of registration; remaining balance must be paid in full three days before the class begins

GSL reserves the right to dismiss from the program (without refund) any student whose behavior becomes unmanageable. Students are not allowed to be unsupervised on campus at any time. At the end of an Enrichment class, students should either be picked up or report to ACE: After School. There is no additional charge for students who are registered for ACE: After School full-time. All other students will be charged the daily drop-in fee of $15 through UltraCamp. Contact the ACE office at 901.590.6604 to cancel an ACE: Enrichment class in advance. A minimum of seven days notice must be given to receive a refund. No refunds will be given for students who are registered for more than one activity on a particular day/time. It is the parent's responsibility to ensure a student is not registered for overlapping classes. Enrichment classes will not meet on school half days or holidays. Classes with insufficient enrollment are subject to cancellation with a full credit to a family's UltraCamp account. Advance notice will be provided to those registered. The ACE office will not contact parents when a student is not in attendance. No refund will be given for a student who chooses not to attend classes or activities.

ACE: After School

ACE: After School provides a fun and safe environment for students after school from 3-6 p.m. on full days (2:25-6 p.m. on Wednesdays) and 12-5:30 p.m. on half days. REGISTRATION UltraCamp is used to manage all registration and billing activity for ACE: After School. An UltraCamp account with a card on file is required to register and to use the drop-in option at any time. A family new to UltraCamp will be taken through the process of creating a new user account. Once registered, a family is unable to change to the drop-in option until the following semeser.

CLICK HERE TO REGISTER FOR ACE AFTER SCHOOL PAYMENT INFORMATION ACE: After School is $1,800 for the 2019-20 school year.* There are three options to pay: 1. Pay the full amount of $1,800 at the time of registration 2. Pay $900 in August 2019 and $900 in January 2020 3. Pay $180 a month from August 2019 - May 2020 (charged on the 15th of each month) *For LL & PK students only, 3- and 4-days/week options are available. The cost for 3 days/week is $135/month or $675/semester; the cost for 4 days/week is $155/month or $775/semester. Drop-In The drop-in option is available to any family interested in utilizing ACE: After School on an asneeded basis. The drop-in rate is $15 a day. Charges will be billed via UltraCamp between the 10th and 15th of the following month. For example: If a student uses the ACE: After School drop-in option on September 5, the charge will be billed between October 10-15.

It will take place from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday in a Middle School classroom and will be proctored by a GSL faculty member.
