renewal and the chance to recommit to the Girl Scout movement. Living by the Girl Scout Promise and Law is foundational for me. Girl Scouts guides my life, motivating me to do what is right, help others, and make a positive impact. I am deeply drawn to the mission of building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.
This year, challenges and opportunities have allowed me to grow and discover more about myself. Girl Scouts offers girls the same journey facing challenges, taking risks, and problem-solving to develop their minds, bodies, and spirits. As a young Girl Scout, I learned how to talk to people I did not know, how to be away from my parents at resident camp at Camp Shantituck, how to be resourceful by digging a hole for a bathroom at Camp Stem, that I could make someone else's life better by being helpful, and that I was stronger than I thought. Being a Girl Scout continues to guide and shape my life as I learn and grow, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue helping others.
As a Girl Scout volunteer, I hope to provide guidance that lasts and continues to have
an impact on the girls I serve. This role carries the responsibility of being present, engaged, and offering meaningful mentoring. I believe in investing in girls by donating my time, talent, and treasure to Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana.

The first planned gift in the Girl Scout Movement came from our founder, Juliette Gordon Low After converting the carriage house of her home into the first Girl Scout national headquarters, she gifted the property to Girl Scouts in her will.
