My favorite part of being nvolved in Girl Scouts is atching the girls grow and arn.
my life for 40 years, and it has shaped me in more ways than I can count. I had the privilege of leading Troop 628 for 15 years, and I am now in my third year leading Troop 614. Over the years, Girl Scouts has given me the opportunity to guide, encourage, and walk alongside so many incredible girls as they learn new skills,
here is something truly pecial about seeing a girl ep outside her comfort one, gain confidence, and begin to come into herself. Whether it is speaking up, leading a project, helping a younger Girl Scout, earning a badge, going to camp, or simply realizing “I can do this,” those moments are powerful. Girl Scouts gives girls a safe and supportive place to learn who they are, what they value, and how amazing they can be.
That is why supporting Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana matters. Every donation, volunteer hour, and act of support helps create opportunities for girls to become leaders, problemsolvers, friends, helpers, and confident young women. The first planned gift in the Girl Scout Movement came from our founder, Juliette Gordon Low. After converting the carriage house of her home into the first Girl Scout national headquarters, she gifted the property to Girl Scouts in her will. New Cabins at Bear Creek Aquatic Camp
Two new cabins are now open at Bear Creek Aquatic Camp’s Cardinal Hill unit— including a fully wheelchair-accessible cabin providing comfortable, inclusive spaces where Girl Scouts can create memories for generations.
New Commercial Mower at Stem Adventure Center
A $5,772 grant from the Harrison County Community Foundation provided Stem Adventure Center with a new commercial lawn mower, helping keep camp safe, beautiful, and ready for outdoor exploration for years to come.
Community Foundation of Southern Indiana Grant
Thanks to a $5,000 Community Assist Grant from the Community Foundation of Southern Indiana, more girls in Clark and Floyd counties will have the opportunity to experience camp adventures, build confidence, and create lifelong friendships.
Pool & Shower House Renovations at Camp Shantituck
