Girl Scouts of Eastern South Carolina Benchmarks for Service Teams 2022-2023 ALL TEAM MEMBERS ATTEND MONTHY TEAM AND SU MEETINGS

July Service Unit Coordinator     

Meet with Service Team to plan for new membership year Set date, time and location for Service Unit Meetings and share information with Volunteer Support Specialist (VSS) Work closely with the Volunteer Support Specialist ensuring ongoing communication Work with Volunteer Support Specialist on filling vacant Service Team positions Attend SUDS

Communications Coordinator    

Inform membership of Meeting time and place Keep accurate minutes of the Service Team and Unit Meetings & report to the appropriate group Ensure all Co-Leaders receive Service Unit emails and/or Facebook posts Attend SUDS

Finance Coordinator    

Maintain and report on financial records for Service Unit Keep records of all Troop/Group checking accounts and bank statements on a monthly basis Remind Co-Leaders to have the “Corporate Resolution Regarding Financial Arrangements of Corporate Subunits” on file with their bank Attend SUDS

Events Coordinator    

Discuss and plan possible Service Unit events Promote Sandy Ridge weekend events Promote Service Unit and Council events Promote Troop Camping opportunities at Sandy Ridge

Membership Recruiter      

Work with Community Engagement Specialist on a recruitment plan for the Service Unit Support and attend Recruitment Events (Adults and Girls) Follow up on Girls from Day Camp, Twilight Camp and Resident Camp Assist with placing Individually Registered Members (IRM) into Troops Work with the Placement Specialist to place new Girls and Adult volunteers in Troops Attend SUDS
