Award ceremonies were held in Greensboro, Hendersonville and Hickory on May 19, 2019.

Tashia Mason, member of Girl Scout Troop 41121, was awarded the Medal of Honor for her lifesaving skills when she helped rescue family members from their house after a tree fell on it during Hurricane Michael in October 2018.
