Mercado Libre opened a new Cross-Dock logistics hub in Cuautitlán Izcalli, State of Mexico.
The facility represents a MXN 2.5 billion investment, the largest Cross-Dock the company operates in Latin America.
Spanning 80,000 m², it can process up to 600,000 packages per day, boosting national e-commerce distribution capacity. The project is expected to create over 1,000 direct jobs and reinforce the region’s logistics labor market.
State of Mexico now hosts 389 distribution centers (13 % of the national total) and supports roughly 699,000 logistics-related jobs.
Strategic location leverages key infrastructure: Mexico-Laredo highway, Toluca-Atlacomulco industrial corridor, freight rail network, and proximity to Felipe Ángeles International Airport.
