© algaida editores S.A.

LISTEN TO THE STORY… 1.

The children love that Plin and the owl are at school with them. They teach them many things. Together they also learn new things. Today, for example, Plin is learning to use a spinning top in the playground. Everyone makes a circle around Ana. She spins the top well. ‘Wow! Let me try!’ asks Plin in an excited voice. The girl gives her the toy and Plin throws it with all her strength. ‘Don’t throw it like that!’ say her friends loudly, but it’s too late! The spinning top flies like a rocket! ‘Watch out!’ shouts everyone, when the spinning top bounces from tree to tree.

2.

Just then Pepín appears. He stretches one of his arms and catches the flying toy. ‘I’ve got it!’ he says. But he loses his balance and, he bumps into Ana. She falls on the ground. ‘I’m sorry! Are you ok?’ asks the little monster. Luckily, she is fine, but... ‘Oh, no! Where is my tooth?’ she says. Everyone looks for Ana’s tooth but they can’t find it. ‘I think it’s in my tummy!’ says Ana in a worried voice.

3.

‘Don’t worry,’ says Pelusa. She explains that swallowing a tooth isn’t a problem. But Ana is worried about another thing. ‘If I don’t put my tooth under my pillow… The tooth fairy can’t leave me a surprise.’ ‘We can go inside your tummy and take it out!’ says Plin. ‘What?’ says everyone with surprised faces! ‘How can you do that?’ they ask. as they see her light, they immediately go to the school.

2

Plin looks towards the mountain from the summer. She shines brightly to ask the fireflies for help. As soon

4.

Plin explains Ana’s problem to the fireflies. ‘Let me go inside. I can look for the tooth!’ says one of them. It goes into Ana’s mouth with its light on. ‘Where is it going?’ ask Pepín, Popi and the owl. ‘Let’s see,’ says Pelusa. She waves her wand and says some magic words. Then, they can see the firefly’s route in Ana’s body. It’s amazing! First, they see Ana’s tongue and her clean teeth. Then, they see her throat. The firefly goes down quickly like it’s on a slide. Finally, it stops in Ana’s tummy.

5.

‘There are lots of things here!’ it says while it’s looking for the tooth. There are pieces of apple and biscuits from Ana’s breakfast. The food is still in her tummy. ‘I’ve got it!’ it says happily. ‘Great!’ shouts everyone. Now the firefly has to get out. Which way can it go? It can go into the intestines and come out in a poop. Urggh! It doesn’t like that idea! ‘I think I can come out of her nose,’ it says. They watch the firefly going into Ana’s veins. It swims in the blood and it arrives at her heart. Then, in a heartbeat it arrives in Ana’s lungs.

6.

‘Now blow hard through your nose!’ says Pelusa to Ana. Ana breathes in deeply, and blows hard. Wow! The firefly comes out of her nose holding the tooth in its arms! ‘Fantastic! Thank you very much!’ says the girl. She holds the little firefly and the tooth carefully in her hand. ‘Now you can put your tooth under your pillow and the tooth Fairy can leave you a surprise,’ says Plin.

‘First, you should clean your tooth,’ jokes Pepín. Everyone laughs, and Pepín’s laugh fills the playground with popcorn.

Lucas is an enormous dragon. He’s big and strong but he’s scared of the dark at night. Every night, he lights a candle, and he covers himself with his wings to sleep. One night, the wind blows the candle out! Lucas is very scared! Suddenly, a firefly appears. ‘Don’t be scared, Lucas’ it says.

10

‘Think about beautiful things: your friends, your birthday and your family. When you fall asleep, the Moon and stars look after you.’ Now, when Lucas is scared, he thinks about happy things and... he falls asleep. Lucas isn’t scared of the dark anymore.

© algaida editores S.A.

12

© algaida editores S.A.

LISTEN TO THE STORY… 1.

It’s a day off so Plin and her friends go to the countryside. They pick some mushrooms. Their basket is full when it starts raining heavily. ‘Let’s go inside!’ says Plin. ‘There’s a cave!’ says Pelusa as she points. ‘Come on!’ she adds. The cave is dark. They have light from the fireflies. And Plin switches on her tummy light, so they aren’t scared. ‘Let’s stay here until it stops raining,’ says Pepín. ‘I want to explore this cave,’ says the curious owl. He can see in the dark, so he flies further inside. Soon, they hear the owl shouting. ‘It’s horrible! What a mess!’

2.

Popi, Pelusa, Plin and everyone else run to see. They find the owl looking at a wall with his wings on his head. ‘Look! Vandals! There are paintings in the cave!’ he says angrily. ‘Not vandals,’ says Plin. ‘They are called cave paintings. This cave is a pre-historic home,’ she explains. ‘Is this a home?’ asks Pepín in a surprised voice. ‘There isn’t light or furniture!’ he continues. ‘Let me show you!’ says the star. She shows a 3D film on her tummy.

3.

Immediately, there are stone-age men and women in the cave. They are wearing fur. They are cooking over a fire and they are painting animals on the wall. A huge mammoth appears! Pepín is scared. The mammoth leaves the cave quickly. When the film finishes all men and women disappear! Phew! ‘It’s incredible!’ exclaims Popi. ‘Me too,’ says a strange voice. Everyone looks at the dark part of the cave. Who is it?

2

© algaida editores S.A.

‘That’s amazing! But I prefer my home. It’s more comfortable,’ says Pepín.

4.

‘Who are you?’ asks everyone in a scared voice. ‘I’m a magician,’ says the stranger as he walks into the light. ‘I’m Tom,’ he adds. He goes to the cave to learn about the prehistoric period. ‘I’m here because I don’t know the way home. I travel on a cloud with my crystal ball. But it’s broken! I can’t go home,’ he says. ‘I can help you go home,’ says Pelusa. ‘Perfect!’ answers Tom. ‘And I can prepare you all a snack,’ he adds. Pelusa uses her broom GPS and says, ‘Let’s go friends!’

They fly on Tom’s magic cloud, and arrive quickly at the magician’s house. It’s on top of a very high mountain. It’s an amazing house! When they go inside, the lights come on. ‘Where do we put our raincoats?’ asks Popi. A robot appears. It takes the raincoats and puts them in a wardrobe. When they want to sit down, flying chairs appear. The glasses and plates appear and fly onto the table. Everyone likes the beds. They float in the air and the bedroom is full of stars, like a planetarium! ‘Can we sleep here tonight?’ asks Plin.

6.

‘Yes!’ answers Tom. ‘And tomorrow you can take my cloud to go home,’ he says. That night they sleep in flying beds. They don’t sleep very well, because the beds don’t stop moving! Pepín feels tickles in his tummy. ‘Oh, no!’ he says. He starts laughing and popcorn flies everywhere. A vacuum robot comes in quickly and cleans up the popcorn. It’s very late when they fall asleep.

In the morning Pepín says. ‘This house is great, but I like our house, our beds and no robots,’ he smiles and tries not to laugh again.

There are three little witches, Lara, Sara and Mara. They don’t like going to magic school. They want to stay in bed. Their grandma visits them. She is a wise witch with a crystal ball. She says a spell, Plom! The ball shows the future of the girls!

10

They can do magic well, and they are happy. ‘That’s fantastic!’ say the little witches. ‘If you go to magic school every day, you can do magic well,’ says their grandma. Then, the girls go to school happily every day. They want to learn new things.

© algaida editores S.A.

12

© algaida editores S.A.

What’s in my tummy?

¡Hola, familia!
