GROVES GALA 2027
APRIL 30, 2027 | THE DEPOT | MINNEAPOLIS
A child shouldn’t have to become someone else for school to work. Every child should have the chance to discover what they can do, what they care about, where they belong, and who they might become. Groves Academy starts from a different premise. For some bright, capable children with learning differences, school can begin to narrow that sense of possibility. Often, they are working harder than anyone can see.
2
When the way a child learns and the way school teaches don’t fit, school can become harder than it needs be. Confidence can shrink. Curiosity can give way to caution. Families can spend years searching for the right answer. We created a school intentionally designed around how students learn so they can experience success, build confidence, and discover what else is possible.

When learning works, the world gets bigger. At Groves Academy, students learn in an environment intentionally designed around how they learn. That takes deep expertise, individual attention, and the ability to adapt. Our educators understand how learning differences show up for individual students and adjust instruction in response. Small classes, specialized instruction, executive -function development, and self-advocacy give students what they need to experience success - and then build from it.
A child should be known for more than what is difficult for them. At Groves, students can build friendships, explore interests, compete, create, lead, and take healthy risks. When school works for them, there is room to become a scientist, teammate, musician, friend, leader - and simply a kid at school.

A child’s potential shouldn’t be determined by their family’s income.
Access to the education they need should not be either.
Tuition assistance helps close the gap between need and access.
For a family that has found an educational environment designed for their child, cost should not be the question that determines what happens next.
A student gets to attend the school their family believes they need - and a family gets to choose based on what is right for their child, not only what they can afford.
