1. Equipment and Appliances The appliances are the property of the building. Proper use and maintenance are essential to ensure their durability. Important Rules: • Do not attempt to repair an appliance yourself. Report any malfunction to the property manager. • Use gentle cleaning products. Damage caused by negligence may be charged to you. The manuals and specifications for each appliance are available in the appliance guide provided in your brochure. Instructions: 1.Unplug the refrigerator or turn off the power. 2.Wash by hand, rinse, and dry all removable parts and interior surfaces. 3.Also clean the exterior surfaces. Painted Metal and Stainless Steel: 1.Wash the exterior metal parts and stainless steel surfaces using a soft, clean cloth or sponge with a mild detergent in lukewarm water. 2.Rinse with clean lukewarm water, then dry immediately. Note: To avoid scratches, always rub in the direction of the grain. Condenser (as needed): Under normal household conditions, frequent cleaning of the condenser is not necessary. However, if the environment is particularly greasy or dusty, we recommend cleaning it every two to three months to maintain its efficiency. Instructions: 1.Unplug the refrigerator. 2.Remove the base grille. 3.Use a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment to clean the grille. 4.Replace the base grille. 5.Plug the refrigerator back in or turn the power back on. B. Cleaning Your Stove (Ceramic Glass Cooktop and Oven) a.Ceramic Glass Cooktop
Recommended Products: Weiman Cooktop Cleaner Kit or Cerama Bryte.

Instructions: 1.Remove burnt food residues using the cooktop scraper. 2.For best results, use the scraper while the cooktop is still warm but not hot to the touch. It is recommended to wear oven mitts when scraping the cooktop. 3.Hold the scraper at approximately a 45° angle to the cooktop and press firmly to remove residue. 4.Allow the cooktop to cool completely before proceeding to the next step. 5.Apply a few drops of one of the recommended cleaning products to the areas to be cleaned. 6.Rub the surface firmly to remove stubborn stains. 7.Let the product dry into a whitish film before moving to the next step. 8.Buff to a shine with a clean, dry cloth or paper towel. Do not use: •Steel wool or abrasive pads •Abrasive powder cleaners •Bleach, ammonia, or rust-removing products Tip: Wipe the cooktop after each use to prevent stain buildup and extend its lifespan. Warning: Splashes of acidic foods (e.g., vinegar and tomato) can damage the surface finish and should be cleaned as soon as the stove has cooled. Glass cleaner, mild liquid cleaner, or non-abrasive scrub pad: Gently scrub around the nameplate or model/serial numbers to avoid erasing the numbers. b.Oven Self-Cleaning Cycle Recommended Products: none required Pre-Self-Cleaning Instructions: 1.Remove all oven accessories. 2.Wipe the inside of the door and the perimeter of the opening with a damp cloth.

3.Wipe away any visible dirt inside. 4.Remove any plastic items placed on the cooktop surface. Warning: •Do not touch the oven and keep children away from the appliance during the self-cleaning cycle. Failure to follow these instructions may cause burns. •Ensure the kitchen is well ventilated to allow heat, odours, and smoke to dissipate. •Do not block the oven vent(s) during the self-cleaning cycle. •Air must be able to circulate freely. Depending on your model, see the section “Oven Vent” or “Oven Vents.” Avoid cleaning, scrubbing, damaging, or moving the oven door gasket. Oven Self-Cleaning Cycle Instructions: 1.Remove the oven racks. 2.Set the oven control to Clean. 3.Select a cleaning duration or soil level (Light, Moderate, or Heavy). For a standard cleaning, it is recommended to select a cleaning time of three hours or set the soil level to Medium or Heavy. Press Start. (For delayed start programming, refer to the User and Care Guide.) Note: For safety reasons, the oven door remains locked until it has cooled, then unlocks automatically. c.Manual Oven Cleaning Recommended products: White vinegar and baking soda. Instructions: 1.Prepare a paste using white vinegar and baking soda. 2.Apply the paste to the oven walls and let it sit for a few hours. 3.Scrub with a soft sponge and rinse with clean water. d.Oven Control Panel and Exterior Recommended products: window cleaner

Instruction: 1.Always apply the cleaner to a soft cloth or sponge, never directly onto the control panel. 2.Gently wipe the surface of the control panel. 3.For the exterior of the oven, also use a slightly damp soft cloth with mild soap if needed. 4.Thoroughly dry the surface with a clean, dry cloth to prevent streaks. Warning: To avoid damaging the control panel or exterior surfaces, never use abrasive cleaners, steel wool pads, rough cloths, or abrasive-type paper towels. These products and tools can cause permanent scratches and reduce the durability of the surfaces. e.Oven Racks Recommended products: Steel wool pad, warm water, mild soap, vegetable oil. Instructions: 1.Remove the oven racks before cleaning. 2.Wash the racks by hand in warm, soapy water to remove food residues. 3.Gently scrub stubborn stains or discoloured racks with a steel wool pad. 4.Rinse thoroughly with clean water, then dry with a soft cloth. Warning: Do not clean the oven racks in the dishwasher, as this may cause discolouration and reduce their lifespan. Avoid using harsh chemicals (ammonia, bleach, or strong industrial degreasers), as they can damage the metal finish.
C. Cleaning Your Dishwasher a.General Cleaning Recommended products: Diluted white vinegar, mild detergent, stainless steel cleaner, soft cloth.

Instructions: 1.Pour 500 ml of vinegar into the bottom of the dishwasher or place a glass filled with vinegar in the top rack. 2.Run a full cycle at the highest water temperature, without any dishes. 3.Pause the cycle halfway and let it sit overnight. 4.The next morning, resume and complete the cycle. 5.Wipe the interior of the dishwasher with a dry cloth. Tip: For a natural alternative, pour 6 tablespoons of citric acid into the tub, then run the dishwasher empty. b.Control Panel Instructions: 1.Use only a cloth lightly dampened with mild detergent. 2.Wipe with a slightly damp cloth and clean water. c.Doors Instructions: 1.For stainless steel surfaces, use a soft cloth dampened with stainless steel cleaner. 2.Apply the product to the cloth (never directly onto the door). 3.Wipe in the direction of the grain to avoid streaks. d.Door Gasket Instructions: 1.Regularly clean the gasket with a damp cloth to remove food particles and residue. 2.Use a mild household cleaner for the exterior gaskets and rinse thoroughly. e.Filters (if applicable) Instructions: 1.Check for food residue at least once a week. 2.Remove the filters and clean them thoroughly with clean water. 3.Replace the filters securely before starting a new cycle.

Warning: To avoid damaging the decorative door or dishwasher surfaces, never use harsh cleaners, scouring pads, rough cloths, or abrasive paper towels. These products can cause permanent scratches and affect the appearance of the appliance.
D. Cleaning Your Washer a.Drum and Door Recommended products: Washer tablets or wipes, white vinegar and baking soda, soft cloth, non-abrasive sponge or wipe, mild soap. Instructions: 1.Open the washer door and remove all clothes. 2.Clean the inside of the glass door with a washer wipe, a damp soft cloth, or a sponge. 3.Place a cleaning tablet directly into the drum (never in the dispenser drawer). 4.Close the door and select the Clean Washer with Affresh® cycle. 5.Depending on the model, activate the FanFresh®/Fresh Hold®/Fresh Spin™ option to dry the interior once the cycle is complete. 6.Start the cycle by pressing Start/Pause. Tips: For a natural alternative, pour ½ litre of white vinegar and 1 tablespoon of baking soda directly into the drum, then run a full cycle with hot water followed by a cold rinse. Leave the door open between washes to prevent moisture and odours. Periodically run cycles with warm or hot water. b.Dispensers Instructions: 1.Standard Dispenser: Remove the drawer, wipe with a washer wipe or damp cloth, then dry with a towel. If necessary, use an all-purpose cleaner. 2.Load & Go™ Dispenser: Lift the handle and remove the housing, rinse

thoroughly with clean water, then wipe the exterior surface. 3.Replace the dispenser, ensuring it is properly seated. Warning: Never wash the dispensers in the dishwasher. c.Exterior Instructions: 1.Regularly wipe the surfaces with a slightly damp soft cloth. 2.Act quickly in case of stains or spilled liquid. 3.Use a washer wipe, a soft sponge, or mild soap. Warning: Do not use abrasive products, scouring pads, or strong solvents on the washer. These products can damage the finish, scratch the surface, or deteriorate the seals.
E. Cleaning Your Dryer a.Drum Recommended products: Soft cloth, mild dish detergent, hot water Instructions: 1.Prepare a solution with a small amount of mild dish detergent and very hot water. 2.Wipe the inside of the drum with a soft cloth dampened with the solution. 3.Thoroughly wipe with a damp cloth to remove any soap residue. 4.Run a load of clean clothes or towels to dry the drum. Tips: Use a spray bottle filled with hot water and a microfibre cloth for cleaning. Dry with another clean microfibre cloth. Warning: Clothes with unstable dyes (such as denim jeans or highly coloured cottons) may temporarily discolour the inside of the drum. These stains are harmless and will not affect future loads. To prevent stains, dry these items inside out.

b.Lint Filter Frequency: Before or after each use. Recommended products: Soft cloth, mild dish detergent, warm water. Instructions: Before each laundry load: 1.Remove the filter by pulling it upward. 2.Remove the lint by hand, rolling it between your fingers. Do not rinse the filter with water; wet lint is much harder to remove. 3.Reinsert the filter firmly in place. If necessary (for deep cleaning): 1.Remove the lint with your hands. 2.Wet both sides of the filter with hot water. 3.Use a nylon brush dipped in hot water and a small amount of liquid detergent. 4.Gently brush the filter to remove any detergent or fabric-softener residue. 5.Rinse the filter thoroughly with hot water. 6.Dry the filter with a clean towel. 7.Reinstall the filter in the dryer. Warning: Never use the dryer with a lint filter that is out of place, broken, clogged, or missing, which could cause overheating, and damage the dryer and fabrics. Avoid abrasive products and strong solvents when cleaning the drum or the filter, as they may damage the internal surfaces.
F. Cleaning Your Range Hood a. Filter Recommended products: Mild dish soap, hot water, soft sponge or cloth, stainless-steel cleaner (if applicable).

Instructions: 1.Remove the hood filters. 2.Immerse them in hot, soapy water (using mild dish soap). 3.Let them soak for a few hours to dissolve the grease. 4.Gently scrub if needed to remove stubborn residue. 5.Rinse the filters thoroughly with clean water. 6.Allow them to dry completely before putting them back in place.
b. Exterior Frequency: As needed, ideally each week. Recommended products: Mild dish soap, warm water, a soft sponge or cloth, stainless-steel cleaner (if applicable). Instructions: 1.Use a soft, slightly damp cloth with mild soap to wipe the exterior surface. 2.If the range hood is made of stainless steel, apply a stainless-steel cleaner with a soft cloth, always wiping in the direction of the grain, then dry immediately to prevent streaks. Tips: Always turn on the range hood while cooking to eliminate steam and odours. Make sure there is good air circulation (e.g., a slightly open window or door), especially if the smoke detector is nearby. Remove any items stored on or inside the hood — it must remain clear to function properly.

Warning: Never use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, solvents, or scouring powders, as they can scratch the surface and damage the hood. A greaseclogged filter can reduce the appliance’s efficiency and, in extreme cases, pose a fire hazard. It is important to always ensure that the filters are completely dry before reinstalling them to avoid any electricity-related risks.
G. Cleaning Your Quartz Countertops Recommended products: Warm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth. Instructions: 1.Clean the surface with a soft cloth dampened with warm water and a small amount of mild soap. 2.Rinse with clean water, then dry immediately with a clean cloth. 3.Wipe up food or liquid spills right away to prevent permanent staining. Warning: Never use abrasive products, strong solvents, or high-pH cleaners. Do not place hot pots or dishes directly on the countertop; always use a trivet.
H. Cleaning Your Floors A)Hardwood flooring Frequency: Dust several times a week; damp cleaning about once a week, depending on use. Recommended products: well-wrung microfibre mop, neutral-pH cleaner. Instructions: 1.Dust regularly using a broom, a microfibre mop, or a vacuum suitable for hardwood floors. 2.Immediately dry any area where water was used. Tips: Put protective felt pads under furniture legs (chairs, tables) and use a protective mat under office chairs.

Warning: Avoid steam mops and excessive amount water, as they can cause the floors to warp. Avoid abrasive cleaners, vinegar-based products, or cleaners containing ammonia. Waxing is not permitted. B)Ceramic tile flooring Frequency: Dust several times per week; use a damp mop about once a week or once a month. Recommended products: Gentle products (diluted white vinegar, baking soda, non-abrasive soap). Instructions: 1.Remove dust regularly using a broom, a microfiber mop, or a vacuum cleaner. 2.Immediately dry any area where water was used. Tip: It is recommended to clean the grout between ceramic tiles once a year using a mild cleaner or degreaser. This simple maintenance step prevents the grout from darkening over time and helps maintain a clean and uniform appearance.
I. Cleaning Your Kitchen Cabinets Recommended products: A slightly damp microfibre cloth and mild soap. Instructions: 1.Wipe the cabinets regularly with a damp microfibre cloth. 2.For stains, use a small amount of mild soap, then rinse and dry immediately. Warning: Do not expose the cabinets to excessive humidity. Avoid abrasive products, strong chemicals, and scouring sponges. Do not hang heavy objects on the doors.
J. Cleaning Your Windows and Glass Shower Panels Recommended products: Warm soapy water, mild glass cleaner, squeegee (after each shower).

Instructions: 1.Clean the glass surfaces with warm soapy water or a mild glass cleaner. 2.Use a squeegee after each shower to reduce limescale buildup. 3.Dry with a soft cloth for a streak-free finish. Tips: A glass treatment can be applied to make maintenance easier. Warning: Do not use abrasive products or cleaners containing ammonia. Avoid metal sponges and scouring pads, as they can scratch the glass.
K. Cleaning Your Blinds Recommended product: Dry microfibre cloth. Instructions: 1.Gently dust the blinds with a microfibre cloth. 2.Fully raise the blind before opening any door or window behind it. Tips: To preserve the mechanism and prevent damage, always keep a distance of about 10 cm (4 in.) above the windowsill at the bottom of the window. Unroll the blinds slowly. Raise them completely before opening a window or patio door. Warning: Do not unroll the blinds all the way to avoid damaging the mechanism. Handle the blinds carefully to extend their lifespan.
L. Cleaning Your Walls It is important to clean your walls to keep them in good condition and maintain a clean, uniform appearance of the finishes. Recommended products: A mixture of warm water and mild dish soap or white vinegar.

Instructions: 1.Use a dry cloth or duster to remove surface dust from the walls. 2.Protect the floor by laying down a tarp to prevent it from getting wet. 3.Dip the sponge or cloth into the solution, then wring it out thoroughly to avoid excess water. Clean the wall in small sections using circular motions. To prevent streaks, always start at the top and work your way down. Warning: We encourage you to notify your manager if the door closers are no longer operating properly. These small mechanisms prevent the door from opening too quickly or too widely, and in the event of a malfunction, the door may become damaged or damage the adjacent wall.

Building Systems
A.Ventilation System The air exchanger system brings fresh outdoor air into your unit. It is important to maintain an indoor humidity level between 40% and 50% to protect the materials and your health. Frequency: Your ventilation system requires filter maintenance twice a year, which will be performed by our maintenance team. The air exchanger should operate for at least 20 minutes per hour. On the control panel, you will find the 20 min/hr, Minimum, and Maximum settings.
B.Air Conditioning Your unit is equipped with a system controlled by a wall-mounted thermostat.

Main modes: Fan: ensures good air circulation (should always be on at least during winter). Cool: available only during the spring/summer months; allows you to adjust the temperature. Dry: helps control humidity during the summer.
C.Heating Each room is equipped with its own wall-mounted thermostat. Instructions: •During the fall/winter months, keep the heating at a minimum temperature of 16 °C. •As the weather gets warmer, turn off all thermostats when the air conditioning is in use. •A baseboard heater with an independent thermostat is installed in the bathroom.
D.Electrical Panel Each unit has its own electrical panel. In the event of a localized outage: 1.Open the panel. 2.Locate the tripped breaker (often in an intermediate position). 3.Switch it to the OFF position, then back to ON. If the problem persists: •Unplug the devices connected to the affected circuit. •Notify management immediately. Warning: You must never interact in any way with the building’s main electrical panel. Immediately report any burning smell, overheated outlet, or unusual flickering.

E. Electricity and Lighting Fixtures Outdoor outlets: •Each balcony is equipped with an outlet. •The use of outdoor heaters is strictly prohibited due to fire risk. Replacing lightbulbs in fixtures: 1.Turn off the power at the electrical panel. 2.Allow the bulb to cool. 3.Remove and replace the bulb according to the fixture’s specifications. 4.Restore power and test the bulb. To replace the oven or range hood lightbulb, please contact management. Batteries: •Replace the batteries in devices and thermostats as soon as they emit or display an audible or visual signal. •Use only the recommended battery type (AA alkaline or 9V in most cases). •Follow the indicated polarity.
F.Plumbing Prevention: •Never dispose of grease, cotton swabs, sanitary products, or solid objects in the drains. •Use strainers to catch hair and debris. Leaks: •Immediately report any leak or water infiltration to management.

Water valves •Close the main water valves during prolonged absences (more than 48 hours). •Open valves: handle parallel to the pipe. •Closed valves: handle perpendicular to the pipe.
G.Balcony •Barbecues are not permitted. •In winter, remove the snow in front of the patio door (without throwing it over the edge).
4.Safety and Fire Prevention A.Fire Prevention System Your safety is our top priority. The building is equipped with smoke detectors, automatic sprinklers, and a centralized alarm system.

General guidelines: • Never obstruct sprinkler heads or hang objects from them. • It is prohibited to paint, cover, or remove a smoke detector, sprinkler, or alarm panel. • Avoid using aerosols (air fresheners, hair sprays) near detectors to reduce false alarms. • Any irregularity observed (burning smell, defective alarm, sprinkler leak) must be reported immediately to the manager. Warning: Any false alarm caused by negligence (e.g., cooking without ventilation, spraying an aerosol under a detector) may result in a fine.
B.Smoke Detectors Each unit is equipped with smoke detectors powered by the electrical system and equipped with a backup battery. Battery maintenance: • Replace the battery twice a year or as soon as an intermittent chirping sound is heard. • After replacing the battery, press and hold the RESET button until you hear three consecutive beeps. Warning: A detector with a missing, weak, or improperly installed battery can compromise your safety and the safety of other occupants.
C.In Case of a Fire Alarm Instructions: 1.Leave your unit immediately. 2.Never use the elevator, as it is automatically disabled. 3.Use the emergency stairwells. 4.Wait for instructions from the authorities before re-entering the building. Important reminder: It is strictly prohibited to tamper with, remove, or disable audible or visual alarms.

D.Daily Prevention • Always use cooking appliances according to safety instructions. Never leave your stove unattended. • Do not overload electrical outlets. • Make sure your range hood and ventilation systems are working properly to reduce smoke while cooking.
