DIALOGUE

NEWSLETTER GROUPE LEMOINE

As we enter the final quarter of the year, it’s a critical time: the moment when our collective focus and discipline will translate directly into success. This is about more than just closing the year; it's about building the momentum that will define our success next year.

Our priorities for this quarter are clear: People and Performance.

First, we are strengthening our teams at production— Overall, from attracting new talent to enhancing the skills of our current employees onboarding process and working on People Roadmap. When you grow, the company grows.

Second, we are committed to improving Performance and Efficiency. This is where discipline and focus come in. Every task, every project, and every decision should be oriented toward our core goals:

1.Work Safely

2.Produce More

3.Produce Better

This alignment is the key to meeting our goals. As one team, let’s commit to the highest standards of safety, quality, and output. Your focus and individual contribution are what will drive our collective success and deliver a strong finish to the year.

Let’s work together as one to make this our most productive quarter yet.

In each plant, whether we're at the stances lines or the logistic and office area, safety is always the most important thing. We often think of safety as wearing gloves or following machine rules, but it really begins with something simple: how clean and neat our own work area is. A tidy work environment is the first, best way to stop accidents, reduce mistakes, and prepare our company for a future focused on working smarter, which we call Lean.

The Direct Link Between Tidiness and Safety on the Floor

Clearing and organizing your station provides immediate safety benefits:

Preventing Slips and Trips: Loose cotton fibers, thread, or misplaced parts on the floor are easy to slip on or trip over, especially near heavy machinery. Keeping walkways and machine areas clear is non-negotiable for safety.

Reducing Fire Risk: Cotton is highly flammable. Piles of dust, lint, or oily rags can be fire starters. Regular "housekeeping" dramatically reduces this major risk.

Easier Access to Emergency Gear: In an emergency, every second counts. If a fire extinguisher or an emergency stop button is blocked by tools or materials, it can lead to disaster. Tidiness ensures immediate, clear access.

Improved Machine Health: Keeping our equipment—like looms and carding machines clean of excess fiber and dust prevents overheating and breakdowns, which are often a source of workplace injury.

FIGURES OF THE MONTH - AUGUST

The low level of sales is due to a lower demand in August (explains -1M€ of the gap vs budget) and to stock shortages caused by production levels under the standards (explains -0,8M€ of the gap vs budget), accentuated by our difficulties in restarting production after closure and a monthly budget that did not reflect this known trend

Quality (complaints per million units)

PADS France

Step inside our new plant

It’s been 8 months since we launched Pads France, and here we are : Less than a month away from opening the doors.

What was once a logistics warehouse is now a pad manufacturing plant in the making — take a look at the transformation !

As phase 1 of the project wraps up, we’re turning to the next challenges that will shape the success of the site: skill building, safety and industrial performance.

These topics are part of the daily life of every site in the group, and opening a new plant gives us an opportunity to combine proven strengths with fresh ambition.

PADS France

Step inside our new plant

The PADS France team, operating under the "Think Global, Act Local" mindset, recently completed two visits aimed at enhancing technical expertise and strengthening collaboration across the group.

The PADS France team, including a maintenance technician, spent 10 days in September with their colleagues at LMH. This extended visit was centered on the main maintenance of the CAREPAD machine, involving in-depth work to thoroughly identify its strengths and weaknesses. Beyond the technical focus, the immersion was extremely valuable for the exchanges and learning opportunities, significantly reinforcing the French team's expertise and collaboration with the Dutch team, with special appreciation given to Ronnie for sharing his knowledge.

For one full week, the PADS France team specifically a small group composed of a production supervisor, a quality technician, and a maintenance technician was warmly welcomed by the LME team in Estonia to undergo specific training. The experience proved to be filled with knowledge, thanks to the professionalism and kindness of the Estonian colleagues. Crucially, this visit went beyond technical learning to become a genuine moment of sharing that helped solidify team cohesion.
