Autumn In The Park The park is such a pretty place esspecially in austumn! I found it almost impossible to stop taking photos of all the differnent coloured leaves, there was so many everywhere i turned.

It’s still only evening but it feels like we exist outside of the curr The park is abandoned as nobody in their right minds would vi such a miserable day, and we are the only occupants, trudging th the mud. The sky has become blue as the sun has settled beyon rizon and we’re left in the darkness; the harsh gusts of wind and of leave becoming our only solace in these dark times. All the b south. We’ve been walking for over an hour and we still haven’t seen i We’ve witnessed first hand as the colour drains from our surrou and what was once a handful of people jogging through the park turned to just us alone. The park is different today that what it w days ago.

Its as if someone keeps turning the rain on and off like a tap, we venture further down this long stretch of never ending path. As the days become shorter and the heavy clouds overhead to become distorted. The looming trees cast us to the shadows and its not long before this path becomes pitch black. It suddenly makes all the more sense to use forests and woods for a horror film.
Is the park scary at night? The world is a different place at night; the dim colours pour into the landscape as light drains from a once vibrant landscape.
Today the park is drenched in a dark beauty. The colours take on a gothic appeal and it becomes difficult to remember what the location looked like during brighter hours. It;s fun to imagine the park as something else. The branches climbing outof the water become claws of a monster -a venus fly trap for predators. It;s an eerie image and we move past it. It’s interesting how the weather and time of day can manipulate your emotions during a walk. It;s an inspiring location for story writing and gaining ideas for colour palettes. The park is not doom and gloom but proof that you can walk the same route time and time again yet come out the other side with a completely new outlook on the location.
