Dear Members, As another memorable summer comes to a close, we find ourselves reflecting on a season filled with family traditions, outstanding events, and countless opportunities to connect with friends throughout Greensboro Country Club. From busy days at our pools to exceptional dining experiences, championship golf, racquet sports, and summer celebrations, it has once again been a season that reminds us why GCC is so much more than a club, it is a place where friendships are strengthened, traditions are celebrated, and memories are made across generations. One of the highlights of the summer was another outstanding season for our Blue Dolphins Swim Team. Congratulations to all our swimmers on a terrific year, and thank you to the dedicated coaches, parents, volunteers, and Swim Team Committee whose enthusiasm and commitment continue to make this program such an important part of our Club culture. The Blue Dolphins represent more than competition, they embody teamwork, sportsmanship, and friendships that often last a lifetime.

Before we officially turn the page to fall, we invite you to celebrate one final weekend of summer with us during Labor Day Weekend. Join us on Monday, September 7, for our annual Labor Day celebration featuring great food, family activities, and the opportunity to spend time with fellow Members. It remains one of our favorite Club traditions and a wonderful way to close another successful summer season. As the seasons begin to change, so do some of our outdoor amenities. The Farm Pool will conclude another successful season following Labor Day Weekend, while the Irving Park Family Pool will remain open through the end of September, weather permitting. Our Adult Pool will continue welcoming members through October, and the Donald Ross Terrace will remain open into November, offering one of the most enjoyable settings to relax and take in the beauty of fall. Autumn also brings many of Greensboro Country Club's most cherished traditions. Following Labor Day, we look forward to Back-to-School Bingo, a perennial family favorite, followed by the return of the Camel City Yacht Club Concert on the Driving Range, an evening that has quickly become one of our signature social events. September welcomes the prestigious 1909 Men's Member-Guest Invitational, while October features the Ladies Member-Guest, both celebrating outstanding golf, hospitality, and the friendships that define our Club. We will then conclude October with one of our

most beloved family traditions, the Halloween Hayride and Fall Festival at the Farm, creating another opportunity for Members of all ages to make lasting memories together. As we close one fiscal year and prepare to begin another on October 1, 2026, I am pleased to share that the Board of Directors has approved the Club's Fiscal Year 2027 operating and capital budgets. These budgets represent far more than financial planning, they reflect our continued commitment to reinvesting in Greensboro Country Club while enhancing the exceptional member experience you have come to expect. Among the many capital projects planned for the coming year is the long-awaited replacement of our main Clubhouse chiller, a significant investment that will improve the reliability and efficiency of our cooling systems for years to come. We will also replace another major air handling unit as part of our ongoing preventative maintenance program, ensuring the comfort of our Members while protecting the Club's infrastructure. Several highly anticipated Member-facing projects are also scheduled to begin. Following the golf season, we will complete the long-planned renovations to the Irving Park Halfway House, providing a refreshed and more welcoming experience for golfers. Our highest priority, however, will be the renovation of the Ladies' Locker Room in the Fitness Center, creating a functional, and relaxing space that complements the exceptional wellness experience our Members deserve. In addition, Members can look forward to updates within the popular 1909 Bar, including improved seating and enhancements designed to make one of the Club's favorite gathering places even more comfortable and inviting. These projects represent only a portion of the improvements planned for the coming year. Whether investing in infrastructure that operates behind the scenes or enhancing the spaces our Members enjoy every day, we remain committed to continually improving Greensboro Country Club while carefully preserving the traditions and character that make our Club so unique. Thank you for your loyalty, your continued support, and for making Greensboro Country Club such a special place. It is truly a privilege for our team to serve you and your families. Membership Message The Membership Department had a busy summer processing nanny registrations and weekly guest passes. GCC is pleased to offer families the opportunity for their nannies to bring their children to the pool, making it easier to enjoy all the Club has to offer. As a reminder, Members are welcome to bring guests to the Club up to three times per quarter when accompanying them during their visit. If you would like to extend unaccompanied access to your guest, weekly guest passes are available for $100 and may be purchased up to two times per calendar year. We kindly ask that you provide at least one week’s notice before your guest’s arrival, so our team has ample time to make the necessary arrangements. Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us provide an exceptional experience for you, your family and your guests. Also happening in the Membership Department, 2026 Non-Resident Recertification forms were mailed out July 15, 2026. If you are a Non-Resident Member, please submit your completed recertification form by September 30, 2026.

An invitation will be arriving soon! This is an event just for you. We look forward to seeing you there!
Cardiac arrest can happen anywhere and to anyone no matter your age or fitness level. If you have ever been interested in learning how to perform CPR, save a person from choking or how to use an AED, then Greensboro Country Club is proud to offer this training to you. This course will allow you to recognize the signs of someone needing CPR, how to deliver high quality CPR, demonstrate the appropriate use of an AED, perform as an effective team member during multi-rescuer CPR and relief of a foreign-body airway obstruction for an adult, child and infant. Get your golfing, racquets, fitness and bridge groups together to receive this valuable training. $60 per Member | Reservations Are Required | 72-Hour Cancellation Policy in Effect Event Cancellation Policy: If CPR Training has less than three Members registered 48 hours before each class, the Club reserves the right to cancel the event. It is a place to start my day off right and relieve stress. I love how many people I have met and all of my class friends! The trainers and staff are also incredible.

What would you say to someone who has never visited the GCC Fitness Center but is considering giving it a try? It’s FUN! Everyone is at different levels and we support each other to challenge ourselves. Age is not a factor people with 40-year age differences are still working out together! We laugh a lot, even though we may feel like we aren’t going to be able to walk out of class.
If your child is between the ages of 13 and 15, they can sign up for this complimentary class that explains the rules and regulations, correct form for exercises, how to safely spot for exercises, and concludes with a workout.
